"In the middle of the night, the police embarked on a mission to arrest a group of people attempting to break into the diamond gallery and steal its priceless treasures.
The CEO of the gallery and the government had already implemented extensive security measures, anticipating such attempts nonetheless it had happened."
"Thanks to Mr. Varain, an exchange student from the United States with exceptional skills in technology, a highly advanced security system had been developed to help track any heist.
The gang was apprehended and took by surprise, including Pakin Chakamon, the top Thai's mafia leader recently wanted for his illegal activities around the world.
It is believed that everyone has a day when they will be caught and today was theirs."
The morning sunlight came quickly, Phayu and Rain hadn't slept at all that night. Now, they were sitting in front of the TV, watching the news as every channel covered the incident.
Rain noticed how tense Phayu was becoming. He held Phayu's hands and squeezed them for emotional support. Despite his feelings toward his father, Pakin was still his father, and a part of him was really hurt and somehow disappointed of himself.
"You okay?" Rain asked.
Phayu nodded, though his voice was strained. "I'm fine. I know they won't back down. My father has influential people under his control. They'll try everything to get him out of there."
Phayu's knees were shaking with anxiety. It wasn't just the potential release of his father that worried him right now but also the fact that Rain's name had been mentioned on TV. This could mean the whole underworld might come after him or say his skills.
Rain placed a comforting hand on Phayu's thigh, caressing it gently to calm him down. "Everything will be fine. We will be fine," he reassured Phayu with a soft smile.
Phayu pulled him into a hug, his voice breaking as he said "I'm sorry Rain. I'm so sorry."
Rain caressed Phayu's back "Don't be. You didn't do anything wrong."
"I'm sorry, I only brought you problems and pains. I should never have met you. I'm sorry" Phayu repeated, on the verge of tears.
Rain pulled back slightly, cupping Phayu's face in his hands. "Don't ever say that again. You gave me the most beautiful years of my life. You gave me everything I needed, you loved and protected me like no one else could. You completed my life and healed my wounds. You never brought me problems nor pain, and even if you did, I'm happy to face them with you by my side. I'll never give up on you, our love, and our future."
Rain's words were soft but firm as he held Phayu's cheeks. "I love you, and I'll stay with you. Nothing will happen to me, to us, because I have the strongest man by my side, right?" Rain lifted Phayu's head who was trying to look down so he can look into his eyes. "Are you going to let them hurt me?" Rain asked.
Phayu frowned, clenching his jaws. "Never. I'll kill anyone who even thinks of hurting you."
Rain smiled, reassured by the love they share. "Then I'm not scared of anything."
He pulled Phayu into another tight hug, the warmth of their love enveloping them both.
Phayu's phone rang, cutting their moment short. He pulled back and looked at his phone. "It's my brother. I'm sure the news has spread already," he sighed.
"Are you going to answer him?" Rain asked.
Phayu sighed again and picked up the phone. "You already heard, right?" he said as soon he answered.
