Phayu’s private jet touched down smoothly on the runway, the familiar landscape of Thailand visible through the windows. This time though, Phayu wasn’t returning alone. Rain was with him. The long months of separation and anticipation were finally over, and they were starting a new chapter of their lives together.
Inside the jet, they sat next to each other, waiting for the signal that it was safe to disembark. The cabin was quiet, the hum of the engines winding down as the plane taxied to a stop. Rain turned to Phayu, his eyes soft and filled with warmth, a small smile playing on his lips.
“Thank you,” Rain said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Phayu looked at him, puzzled, and pulled him closer. “Why are you thanking me?”
Rain rested his head on Phayu’s chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. “For everything,” he replied, his tone full of sincerity. “I remember the first time we met, and if I had to relive it, I wouldn’t change a thing. All the challenges on our way, all the ups and downs, they made us who we are today.”
Phayu smiled, a deep sense of contentment washing over him. He kissed the top of Rain’s head, holding him just a bit tighter. “I know, my love. I wouldn’t change anything either. Every moment, every struggle, brought us here and made us stronger.”
Their tender moment was interrupted by the flight attendant, who approached them with a polite smile. “Mr. Phayu, Mr. Rain, you can leave now. The car is ready and waiting.”
Phayu nodded in acknowledgment, giving Rain’s hand a reassuring squeeze before they both stood up. They gathered their belonging, they made their way out.
As they descended the steps of the jet, a sleek black car was already waiting for them to go to the private exit. Phayu had made sure to arrange everything to avoid the press and any unwanted attention. After the media frenzy following their relationship announcement, he wanted their return home to be as smooth and private as possible.
The car ride home was peaceful, a comfortable silence between them as they drove through the familiar streets of Bangkok. Rain watched the city pass by, feeling a mixture of nostalgia and excitement. This was his home, and with Phayu by his side, it felt more like home than ever before.
When they arrived at Phayu’s house, the door swung open before they even reached it. Prim came running out, her face lighting up with joy. She practically leaped into Rain’s arms, hugging him tightly. “Congratulations! I’m so happy for you!”
Rain laughed, feeling a surge of happiness. Prim had become like a sister to him, and her enthusiasm was contagious. “Thank you Prim,” he said, genuinely touched. “And congratulations to you too! Phayu told me about your exam. I’m so proud of you.”
Prim grinned, still holding his hand as she pulled him inside. “Come on, tell me everything! I missed you so much. How was the ceremony? What did you wear? Did you cry? I didn't see any pictures yet.”
Rain chuckled as Prim bombarded him with questions, her excitement bubbling over. But before he could answer, Phayu intervened, his tone half-serious, half-amused.
“Can you please let him rest first? You’ll have plenty of time to talk.”
Rain gave Prim a gentle smile. “It’s okay, we can talk later. I’ll tell you everything, I promise.”
Prim pouted playfully but nodded. “Fine, but you owe me a full recap,” she teased before heading off to her room, giving Rain one last hug. “I’m so glad you’re back. We’re going to have so much fun before I leave!”
As she disappeared up to her room, Rain turned to Phayu, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “She’s adorable.”
Phayu smirked, shaking his head. “Adorably evil, maybe. But I’d still kill for her.”
