FORBIDDEN LOVE [PhayuRain]

14- New beginning

The darkness outside was softened by the stars in the sky shining and the moon illuminating the room. Phayu sat there facing his window. The day had been hectic. After dropping Rain off that morning, he had to return to work.
They had to devise a new plan for how to steal the painting.

Their meeting lasted almost five hours until they reached a conclusion on how and when they would operate. Now, sitting there, only one person was on his mind, that beautiful boy with those big, bright eyes. He could get lost just looking into those bambi eyes. He smiled, shaking his head. What was he thinking now? His heart started to beat faster just at the thought of Rain. He held his heart and whispered "What have you done to me Rain?"

He closed his eyes, and the image of them kissing in the car and how Rain had cutely gotten shy and run off made him smile wider. Just when he was lost in his thoughts, the sound of a message from his phone cut through the silence. He took his phone, only to see that Rain had sent a new message. He couldn't stop smiling. Was Rain thinking about him too? Well, Rain thinks about him all the time.

He opened the message. It was a cute rabbit sticker saying hello. He chuckled. How much cuter could Rain get? And another message came: "Are you sleeping?"

Phayu typed back, "No, I'm not. I was just thinking about you."

On the other side, Rain was lying on his bed. When he received the answer faster than he thought, he jumped and sat up to read it. His face got all red, and he rolled on the bed, kicking his feet. If Phayu flirted like this, he wouldn't survive.

"Don't flirt like this Phayu. You're cheating," Rain sent with an angry emoji face.

Phayu opened the message and laughed. So, he decided to call. Rain picked up the phone.

"Are you angry at me?" Phayu asked.

Rain pouted. "No, but you start flirting with me and make my heart weak."

A soft chuckle came from Phayu. "Aren't we supposed to be boyfriends for more than two years? You should be used to it by now, don't you think?"

"Phayuu, I'm a very shy person. Since high school, you used to tease me, knowing I get shy when showing much affection like this," Rain said.

"Oh, you're so cute. I wish I could see your red face now," Phayu replied teasing more.

Rain touched his face, which was indeed burning hot. "How was your day?" he tried to change the subject.

"Stressful but great because I met a cutie" Phayu said never missed a chance to tell him how cute he is.

Rain smiled. "You're still the same."

Phayu thought for a moment. With or without his memories, he was still the same, the same person rain knew and that was a relief. He didn't want to be different and hurt that poor boy again after seeing so much pain in his eyes. "I want to see you now" he said.

Rain got shy again. He knew it was late, and he lived very far from Phayu's house. He wouldn't ask him to come at this time, even if it was something Phayu would definitely do without a second thought. "I'll see you tomorrow" he paused. "I miss you so much," he added softly.

Phayu's heart grew weaker for him. "I miss you too Rainy. Go to bed now, okay? Goodnight."

"Goodnight" Rain replied and hung up the phone. He was blushing hard. He covered his face with a blanket rolling on the bed. He would definitely sleep well tonight.
