21- Our life

It's been three months, three intense months of happiness following nearly a year of suffering since that fateful mission that altered the course of their lives.

Today, Phayu and Rain were fully happy, working towards common goals. During those three months, Phayu had to handle his father's trial, his businesses and start new. He's almost done transfering all their wealth to their private legal business and creating another firm with his brother, buying hotels and apartments, investing in stocks and cryptos a way to clean their money also to extend their operations.

But in the end, he didn't want his father to perish in prison, where he would likely be mistreated, it was his fathe after all the he'll still be grateful for everything he did, he gave them the luxury life other kids dreamt of. Even if his way of doing things were not right but he did provide as a head of the family.

Their lawyers managed to secure a lenient sentence: ten millions dollars and house arrest for five years. Money was nothing for them they'll pay it, their fortune is so much it can last for the next five generations. It was better than leaving him in harsh conditions in that narrow cell.

While all this was happening, Rain finished his exchange semester with honors, as always, and completed the job assigned to him. It was the best six months of his life, he found phayu and have recognition what else should he ask for. His mom and Phayu couldn't be prouder.

Despite the heartbreak, he thrived and realized his dream, which led them to meet again. Phayu would be forever thankful for this sweet boy, his soulmate and life partner. He would do anything to protect him with his life if needed.

Pakin was to be sent back to Thailand since he was arrested in another country. As a foreigner, Phayu had to appeal to Thai law in renforce, which resulted in a favorable decision for both parties. This morning was the D-day of leaving after going back and forth with trials, they succeeded.

The sun rising in the sky, Phayu woke up clinging to Rain, as always every morning, unable to get enough of him, his scent, his soft skin, everything about rain was perfect to him. For the past two weeks, he kept Rain to his house leaving fort alone, well, don't blame him for having the cutest boyfriend that he doesn't want to be separated with him anymore.

He looked at Rain's peaceful sleeping face resting on his chest, a soft snore escaping his lips. Rain was the sunshine in his life, a light in his dark world. Phayu's fingers trailed Rain's face, smiling at the soft groan he makes while sleeping, it was the cutest sound he ever want to hear every day. Leaning in, Phayu pecked his lips gently. Rain stirred from his sleep opening his eyes slowly to meet Phayu's gaze.

"Good morning sunshine" Phayu said with a bright smile.

Rain huffed, burying his face in his chest. He loved their tender mornings and could wake up like this for the rest of his life. Phayu brought him peace and a calming mind. He no longer needs medication for anxiety or therapy. Phayu was his cure for life, making him the happiest person on earth.

"I have to get ready. My father will be sent back today," Phayu said, playing with Rain's hair.

Rain looked up with his big doe eyes. "Do you want me to come?" he asked.

Phayu smiled. "If you're comfortable, yes, I would love to have you by my side" he replied.

Rain smiled back. "Okay, then let's get ready."

Their morning routine was the same: taking a bath together, getting dressed, and eating breakfast before heading out.

It was almost 10 AM ready to leave their house. They were seated in the car, driving to the prison. Phayu was feeling a bit nervous. During the last trial, he saw the distress and regret in his father's eyes. Pakin wasn't the high and mighty figure he once was, his confidence had waned, and he looked like an empty shell.
