Chapter Fourteen : Proof

Chaeryeong's heart thudded in her chest as the video started playing. She took a seat next to Taehyun, their eyes glued to the screen, eagerly anticipating what they were about to see.

Chaeryeong's eyes widened as she watched the video unfold. Yeji and Yeonjun entering a room, a private and intimate moment. The revelation confirmed their suspicions, and a wave of emotions washed over her.

"This still doesn't explain it tho.... Even if the were together so what?" Chaeryeong's emotions swirled when he said that. She realized that her sister, Yeji, was pregnant, and the father was Yeonjun. The gravity of the situation hit her hard, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of surprise, concern, and disbelief.

"Yeonjun... And Yeji... And the baby..." Chaeryeong whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. She still couldn't quite wrap her mind around the revelation.

She glanced at Taehyun, wondering how he was processing the information. "Baby? What baby?"

"Yeonjun and Yeji. They're having a-" Chaeryeong cut herself off, the words stuck in her throat. She realized Taehyun hadn't seen the part of the video yet.

With a trembling hand, she pointed to the screen, focusing his attention on the moment where it was revealed that Yeji was pregnant.

"Hyung probably doesn't want to involve himself... knowing him his having too much fun with his life." Chaeryeong felt a pang of worry in her chest as Taehyun spoke. The thought of Yeonjun not wanting to be involved in the pregnancy was troubling.

She looked at him, her eyebrows furrowing with concern. "But it's his child, Taehyun. Shouldn't he take responsibility?"

As Chaeryeong thought about the baby on the way, a protective instinct stirred within her. The idea of it being her future niece or nephew filled her with a fierce determination to ensure that the baby would have everything it needed, even if Yeonjun didn't want to be involved. She clenched her fists, her voice firm. "Yeonjun can't just ignore his responsibilities. It's not fair to the baby or to Yeji."

"We should make a way... after all that's also my future niece and nephew and I want to be involved in the kids life." Chaeryeong felt a sense of agreement with Taehyun's words. They both shared a deep connection to the unborn child as future aunt and uncle, and they both wanted to be a part of its life.

She nodded, her voice resolute. "You're right. We can't just stand by and let Yeonjun shirk his responsibilities. We need to find a way to be involved."

"I have an idea." Chaeryeong's interest piqued as Taehyun mentioned he had an idea. She gave him a curious look, her eyes expectant. "What is it? I'm all ears."

"But this can risk everything... if we fail to convince them we might not be able to talk." Chaeryeong's heart skipped a beat at Taehyun's warning. It seemed like his plan came with a significant risk. She took a deep breath, preparing herself for what he was about to propose.
