"Everyone understand the plan?" Hanji questioned.

"Yes, ma'am!"

"Now let's get moving!" Eren rushed to the door.

"Calm down, Eren." Levi stopped him. "You guys listen, too. This is where we split up. I'm counting on you."

Sakura's lip trembled slightly. She had always hoped that she would get to fight alongside her dad, that he would watch out for her as they fought, side by side.

"Erwin had to improvise with your group, but you're our only hope." Levi continued. "Got that, Armin? You and Hanji need to keep knocking those theories out."

"Yes, sir!"

"And Mikasa, I don't know why you're so obsessed with Eren, but you need to pull out all the stops to protect him." Levi turned to face Mikasa.

"Yes, sir." Mikasa's eyes were full of determination. "Of course."

"And also, Eren. You need to rein yourself in." Levi added. "Don't let anger distract you from who you are. Don't buckle this time." 

"Yes, sir!" 

"Haru, watch over my daughter for me." Levi's eyes flicked to the white haired boy before his eyes settled on his daughter. 

"Sakura." Levi's eyes softened at the slight tremble of her lips. "You're one of the strongest soldier humanity has to offer. Don't be afraid just because I'm not with you in person. I have been there with you through every step of the way in spirit. Either way, Hanji will look after you, too." 

With his words to his daughter finished, he pulled Sakura into a hug, stroking her hair before kissing the top of her head.  

With Levi's speech and the plan in mind, the Corps rode out, torches lighting their way. 

They galloped hard and fast, racing against time.

"We can see the wall from a tower near here." Hanji announced. "It's an old castle near the southwestern portion."

Sakura's eyes flew around, keeping an eye out in the dark for any Titans.

"We're going to Utgard Castle."

After unloading, the Corps were informed of the plan.

Sakura, Haru, Armin, and Mikasa all waited for Eren and Hanji.

"We've got horses at the west lift." Moblit informed. "Let's go."

The six were about to start walking when Levi and Minister Nick walked back into view.

"Squad leader, we need to go." Moblit turned to look at Hanji.

"One second, Moblit." Hanji told him before running over to Minister Nick. "How about it? Have you had a change of heart?"

Minister Nick looked down, not answering the question.

"Can't you tell we're out of time?" Hanji exploded, desperate for answers. "Please, you need to hurry up and decide if you're gonna talk or not!"

"I can say nothing." Minister Nick replied quietly. "My followers are of the same mind, and there is no swaying us."

"Oh, thank you so much!" Hanji shouted sarcastically. "Pardon me for wasting my time on you!"

"It is far too great a decision to make on our own." Minister Nick told Hanji as she walked away. "We Wallists do naught but follow a great, unifying will."

"Yeah?" Hanji confirmed. "Whose? Your God's?"

"We cannot divulge that information." Minister Nick insisted. " But we can tell you the name of the person ordered to observe us by that great will."

"Observe you?" Hanji questioned.

"I have heard that this person joined the Survey Corps this year." Minister Nick informed.

"So it's probably a person from the 104th Cadets." Sakura mused.

"Her name is -"

Sakura let Mikasa take the first kill once the Survey Corps had reached Utgard Castle before flying in to the battle.

The moment Krista, Connie, Bertholt, and Reiner recognized Mikasa, Sakura launched herself off her horse, spiraling to the nearest Titan's neck and cut off its nape.

Sakura laughed slightly as she watched Eren's hook get entangled with another soldier's and he toppled to the ground.

"Dumbass! There's a reason we told you to stay back!" The soldier shouted at him.

"Yes, sir!" Eren shouted. "Sorry, sir!"

Shaking her head, she spiraled to a Titan that had crept up behind Bertholt, bringing it down.

"Sakura!" Bertholt smiled.

"Hey, Bertholt." Sakura greeted. "I've gotta..."

"Yeah." Bertholt nodded, watching as Sakura flew off again, spiraling, as fast as the eye could see, to kill more Titans.

Once it was confirmed that all the Titans had been killed, Sakura landed on the ground, joining her friends.

"Sakura!" Bertholt caught the girl as she threw herself in his arms, hugging him.

"Are you okay?" Sakura scanned the taller boy for injuries.

"Yeah." Bertholt nodded.

"Sakura." Reiner pat the girl's head, scanning her for injuries.

"Hey, guys." Haru greeted, joining the four. "Glad you're okay."

Reiner nodded as Bertholt filled the group in on what had happened.

"Unbelievable." Armin commented as he watched Hanji, Ymir, and Krista. "Ymir was..."

Sakura bit her lip as she listened to Krista talk.

"Ymir." Krista spoke softly. "My name is Historia."

The sky started to darken and the rain started to fall as the Survey Corps climbed onto the wall.

"Ow." Reiner scratched his arm.

"You okay, Reiner?" Eren turned to look at the blonde boy.

"Do I look okay to you?" Reiner responded.

"Nah, you look like shit." Sakura smirked, eyes sparkling with her slight joke.

"A Titan bit into my arm." Reiner rolled his eyes. "Man, this sucks. I thought I was history."

"Well, that's what happens when you're that strong." Eren replied, helping Armin up the wall.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Reiner raised his voice, turning to look at Eren. "This is my second time! Right, Armin? I got squished inside a Titan's hand that one time."

"Oh..." Armin thought back. "Back then."

"This is the second time I've stared death in the face." Reiner continued. "At this rate, I'll be dead in the blink of an eye. I know I chose this lifestyle, but being a soldier is brutal. I feel like my mind is gonna collapse before my body. Well...I guess I shouldn't be bellyaching when we have a wall to plug."
