Chapter Four

Waking up, I looked around, I was in the hotel room, and my head was pounding. I must have gotten carried away last night. Sitting up, I went to the kitchen to grab breakfast but was confused when the entire room was opposite to mine. I heard a door open. My attention turned to the bathroom, and I saw Ted walk out with only a towel on.

"Ted!" I gasped. I couldn't help myself as my eyes wondered to look at his chest. I looked back up to his eyes quickly.

"Y/n, you're awake. One moment, I'm so sorry!" Ted rushed into the bedroom, coming out in 5 minutes. "Look before you freak out, you're in my room. You passed out before reaching your room, and I didn't feel like searching you for your room card." He said laughing. I could tell he was embarrassed.

"Oh! I'm sorry then, too!" I checked my phone. 11am. Ted gave a head tilt to my response. "I don't even know how bad I could have been last night. You had to babysit Shlatt and me."

"I handed Shlatt off to someone else, After the incident last night I thought it would be best if I took you home last night." He said. I had remembered the dude at the party last night, He was the reason I decided to drink so much. "If it makes you feel better, you won our bet."

"Our bet?" I had forgotten most of last night, "Ohhhh that bet!" Ted laughed. Before either one of us could say anything my phone started to buzz. Picking up I hear Alli screaming.

Y/n!!! Where the fuck are you!

What? Alli slow down, I'm at the hotel

Why are you there?

Why wouldn't I be, I'm staying there.

You need to help me today remember! I cant set this shit up by myself

Oh fuck, yeah give me 30 minutes.

Ted looked up as I hung up the phone. "Is everything okay?" He was standing up. He looked concerned and ready to help.

"Yeah, I may need you to do something though." I started to head to the door. "Come with me."

"What do you need help with?" Ted followed me to my room. His face showed confusion and surprised.

"I needed to help Alli out today, she wants to do some online thing that I know nothing about." I was talking 100 words per minute. I ran to my suitcase grabbing new clothes. "And you and Shlatt talked about that stuff yesterday."

"So you need me to so your favor?" Ted leaned against the door frame watching me frantically run around.

God he looked good

"If you wanna be a bitch about it then yes." I ran into the bathroom and changed into some leggings and tank top.

"Okay, but you owe me one." Ted laughed.

"I owe everyone one at this point." I exited the bathroom fixing my hair up. "And we are not telling Alli about last night or this morning... Got it?" Ted rose his hands up in surrender and started towards the elevator.

--Time skip to at Allis--

We finally arrived at Allis apartments and we rang for her room. After a minute of awkward silence we heard her say to come in. While walking up the stairs I kept seeing Ted look down at me.

"What's going on Ted?" I asked.

"Nothing, just still waking up." He looked at me then the stairs. We still had a few more floors to walk. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" Ted yelled while bolting it.

"That's so not fair! I chased as best I could, tripping over the stairs I could barely catch my breath by the time I reached the top. Ted stood there with the largest grin on his face.

"Its about time, I could have taken a nap while waiting for you!" He laughed knocking on the door. we sat in the hallway for a few more minutes just joking and laughing when Alli opened the door.

"Well, Well, If it isn't Y/n and Ted." She looked at me then at Ted and back at me smirking, She was already thinking of ways to pick on me.

"Hey Alli!" Ted and I said as we walked in, I gave Alli the look that meant to drop whatever she was thinking, I didn't want to hear any of it.

"I only called 30 minutes ago, how did you get ahold of Ted so quickly?" She didn't drop it. I see Ted look over to me before he spoke.

"Y/n and I ran into each other on the elevator again, I was going out today and she invited me." he grinned at me again, "If you dont want me here I can always leave."

"Keep in mind I know nothing about computer setups and what not." I chimed into the conversation, I dont know why but part of me wanted Ted to stay.

"While it would be funny to watch Y/n struggle on her own, I have practice in a few hours, so all the help will be needed." Alli agreed. She started to walk to her room where there where a few boxes sat. Ted grabbed the first box and got straight to work. He did most of the work, my job was to hand him the correct boxes when it was needed. He knew what he was doing and was really good at it, getting everything set up in 2 hours. "Perfect timing, I have to leave in a few minutes, but I'm sure ill see you two and Shlatt tomorrow at my opening night!" Alli smiled as she saw us out the door. I'm not sure why but she seemed very rushed to get us out the door.

"Of course!" I said as she closed the door, I gave Ted a look before speaking again, "Is it just me or was she very rushed in the end?"

"She did seem off, and she kept giving me strange looks while I was working." Ted chimed in. It was true she kept giving him or I looks. She was up to something and I was not a fan of it already. I pull out my phone looking at the time. 2pm.

"We haven't eaten yet today, there's a pizza place down a few blocks down if you would like to join me?" I asked. Ted looked at the time as well.

"If you can beat me down the stairs!" He tried to start running but I was ahead of him this time so by skipping a few steps I was ahead of him. It was a close one this time, I could hear him right behind me. When I reached the final step I tried skipping again and tripped, Due to how close Ted was he tripped as well falling directly on top of me. I saw his face turn pink almost immediately. I knew my face was pink as well, All i was thinking about now was this morning and him walking out of the bathroom. We sat there for a moment not realizing the position we were in. "You Won." He said getting up, He said holding his hand out to help me up. His face was still tinted pink. "To pizza it is."
