Chapter Seventeen

TW: Drinking

After explaining what happened to Ted we decided to get the evening started. Ted went into the other room and back holding a bag, Handing it to me he smiled.

"I know you like putting effort into your outfits when around other people, So I packed some clothes for you to change into if you wanted." He looked nervous as if he was scared I wouldn't like the sentiment.

"Lets see if you really do have a fashion sense." I laughed as I grabbed the bag and walked to the guest room. I cant believe he noticed such a thing. Grabbing the clothes he didn't do to bad, I put on the ripped jeans and Long sleeve white cropped shirt. I walked out seeing Ted look at me with a large grin.

"I apparently do have fashion sense, You look really hot." He said without thinking, His face growing bright red after. He looked at Charlie and Schlatt who burst out in laughter. I felt my face turn red at the comment before letting out a light laugh.

"You really are Mr. Loverboy." Charlie let out still laughing at Ted.

"Ignore them Teddy, I think I look hot too." I said walking up to him, Grabbing his had and bringing him outside. As I grabbed his hand I hear Charlie and Schlatt get quite very quickly watching us. Reaching the porch I  look up at Ted getting on my tiptoes and wrapping my arms over his shoulders. "I would kiss you right now, But I want it to be extra special later." I smiled before walking back inside. Charlie looking at me confused. "I wanted Ted to be able to compliment me without you two giggling like we re in kindergarten." I said laughing. They went silent before laughing some more.

"Lets get back to the evening." Schlatt said as Ted walked back into the room. His face still blushed. "I'm thinking a drinking game?" We all nodded our heads and went to the table. Schlatt grabbed a bottle of Alcohol and 4 shot glasses. "Its simple, two truth and a lie. If you cant guess the lie you drink. If each person guesses the lie then you drink." He poured each person a shot and began the game. It took an hour and a half for 4 rounds, in the end Schlatt drank 6 shots. Charlie 7, Ted and I each drank 4. The guys were really poor at lying.

Looking at the time it was 11:05pm, We headed outside where we had some sparklers and games. Schlatt was a bit of a mess, along with Charlie. I ran inside making them some coffee, and grabbing food. I handed each of them their midnight snacks and they munched quickly. it was 11:40 now, The guys were doing better already. I went over to Ted.

"Question?" I tapped Teds shoulder. He looked over at me. "Am I allowed to kiss you In front of them at 12?" I looked side to side and back up to him. His face had a smile on it. I felt his hand on my face pushing my hair behind my ear. before he could do anything else I hear.

"Oooooooo" from both the guys. I turn my head glaring shutting them both up. Some more time passed playing with sparklers. "Guys look at the time." Charlie called. It was 11:58. 2 minutes until midnight. I stood next to Ted grabbing his hand, As he looked at me I got excited for midnight. We sat for a moment when he hear Schlatt call "10!" I turn to look at Ted, A smile covered both faces.

I felt as Ted's hand grabbed my face once again, I on my tiptoes and arms draped around the back of his neck. It felt like nothing else in the world was real as I felt his lips press against mine, I've wanted this all day, I felt safe as he now held my waist. we let go of the kiss as I caught my breath I see Charlie and Schlatt staring, Ignoring it for now I hear Ted.

"N/n, Will you be my girlfriend?" I hear his voice, My heart beating faster then ever. 

"Of course!" I kissed him again as he picked me up and spun me, I forgot that the rest of the world was around.

"Yo Charlie, That's definitely not their first kiss." I hear Schlatt say louder then needed so we would hear him. Both of us look at them and start laughing.

"How long have you two been together?" Charlie walked over with a smirk on his face. 

"Saturday, So not long." I said. "Surprised you two didn't figure it out, We have been sneaking around even today." I laughed even more. It was nice to have them know, It was even nicer have Ted be my boyfriend. "Now its way past when I sleep, so I going to sleep." I said goodnight to the boys and headed inside.

--Ted's POV--

As Y/n went inside I see Charlie and Shlatt brewing questions and comments.

"Okay hit me, 3 questions/comments each." I said, I was also getting tired and wanted to sleep.

"Okay," Shlatt started. "When on Saturday? Why didn't you tell us? How was the first kiss?" he listed his questions. I laugh at his swiftness.

"during stargazing. I didn't want you two to bombard her right away, and this was much better. The first kiss was magical, It was amazing, I keep reliving it through my head." I said, it was true. I look at Charlie as he thought.

"My turn then." Charlie had a large smirk on his face. "How long have you liked her? Why do you like her? And the heavy hitter, Do you love her?" My eyes got wide at the final question. 

"I have liked her for a while, I first started thinking about it when she moved into my room. I like her because she's sweet, Funny, Beautiful, and honest. What is there not to like about her, This trip has been much better then expected because of her. Do I love her? Honestly I dont know, Its been on my mind recently." I looked down, I knew deep down I did love her.

"You love her." Charlie and Schlatt said looking at me. I rolled my eyes before starting inside. 

"I headed to bed. Goodnight you two." I say, getting inside before they could get another remark in. I headed to the guest room seeing Y/n laying in bed scrolling her phone. I laid down next to her, she put her phone down as soon as I did. Resting her head on my chest, closing her eyes. 

"Goodnight Teddy." She smiled.

"Goodnight My love." I kissed her forehead before closing my eyes.
