Waking Up I got ready for my day, I moved slowly having no motivation to see Ryan. Ted tried to lift my spirits by acting happy but I knew he was as upset as I was. I jumped into the shower feeling the water hit my back brought a from of relief, I sat and enjoyed the feeling. I decided to wear Teds Hoodie and some leggings, I wasn't putting effort in for this. I walked out of the bathroom hearing someone behind me.
"Good Evening N/n." Ted came up behind me giving me a large hug. I turned around in his arms giving him a hug back.
"There's nothing good about this evening. Are you sure your good to stay here until I get back. Your gonna miss most of the party?" I look up at him, his face trying to be happy but concern showed.
"There's no way I'm celebrating new years without you. I-" He stopped himself from continuing to talk. I felt a smile finally show on my face, I released the hug and grabbed my phone. 4pm. I walk to the couch sitting.
"I have 2 hours until I need to leave, watch a movie with me. Please." I tapped the seat next to as a spoke. Ted moved next to me wrapping his arm around me. I rested my head on him as we watched the real Shrek.
--Teds POV--
She tapped the couch asking me to watch a movie, I sat down next to her just wanted to hold her. I didn't like the fact that she was going to spend most of new years with someone else, I didn't like that she didn't feel safe, I didn't like any part of this. She rested her head on me, I could feel my smile grow and my stomach do a flip. It wasn't as much as when I kissed her, Or fell asleep next to her. But it was still flipping.
I love her...So much
No I cant Love her...
I ignored my thoughts and watched the movie, I didn't even watch all of it as I caught myself looking down at Y/n. As the movie ended I felt her head get off my shoulder, She checked her phone and looked at me.
"It's time." Her face looked numb, I wanted to stop her, I wanted to hold her. I knew that she was doing this no matter what.
"I'll be right here, waiting for you." I stood up, Pulling her up and into a hug. As she let go, Her head hung low walking out the door. I missed her already. I went and grabbed my phone to text Charlie, when there was a knock at the door. Opening it I see Charlie standing awkwardly.
"I saw Y/n walking down the hall, I figured you may want to talk." He walked into the room saying. He sat down on the couch looking at me.
"I'm worried for her, This person isn't good to her, I'm scared she's gonna get hurt." I sat down next to Charlie.
"Ted, She's got this all figured out. She's strong and smart." He looked at me trying to help. "I trust her, and If anything happens you and I can handle it."
"Your right. I just had tonight planned in my head for a while, To think it's ruined because of Alli and Ryan." I sighed. I really had thought of tonight, Charlie and Shlatt still didn't know about Y/n and I liking each other. I wanted to kiss her when the clock went to Twelve and ask her to be my girlfriend.
"Really, What's this plan Mr. Loverboy?" Charlie now had a large smirk on his face.
"I wanted to ask her out tonight, I really hopes she will say yes. I have no clue if she likes me or not." I lied, Slightly. Charlies grin growing more.
"She will say yes, You to are head over heels for each other. I'm shocked you two aren't going out already." He laughed. After some more talking we decided to watch TV, I needed the distraction.
--Y/n's POV--
I made it too the cafe, Part of me felt like it couldn't breathe. I look around seeing Ryan waving from afar. I walk over trying to be pleasant, If I wasn't this evening would be worse.
"Hey Ryan, Long time no see." I wave back.
"Hey Y/n." Ryan had a blank expression, I was caught off guard. Alli made it sound like he really wanted to see me. "I didn't wanna do this, But." He looked down to the ground. "Alli made it sound like you really wanted to meet and talk about when we were together. But I wasn't good to you and wouldn't like to think back to then." He sighed. "I didn't have a way to text you, But I would like to spend the evening with my fiancé." He looked up clearly uncomfortable.
"Ryan, This is the best thing I have heard all day." His face was confused. "Alli made it seem like you were desperate and I felt bad." I lied. "I really didn't wanna come here tonight, I had other plans." His face went to relieved. "As long as you tell Alli we spent the night hanging out, I say we can go back to our nights."
"That sounds like a plan, Lets take one photo. To prove we were together." He smiled, Taking the photo and saying our goodbyes I felt the ease to breathe. I wanted to call Ted but I figured to surprise him at Schlatt's.
Y/n- Hey Teddy, I already told Ryan that I will have to leave at 11. He understood, So I'll meet you at Schlatt's around 11
Teddy- That's great, I'll see you soon N/n
I put my phone down and headed to Schlatt's house. Getting there I see Charlie on the porch just sitting. Getting out of the Cab I wave and call out.
"Charlie, Hey hey hey!" I ran over, sitting down next to him. His head perking up looking confused.
"Y/n? What are you doing here?" His face was confused and worried.
"Neither me or Ryan wanted to be there. We took a photo, Sent it to Alli and went on our way." I smiled, His face resting back to happy.
"I'm really glad your here! The guys are inside playing games. I'll be in in a moment." His face showed happy but i knew he wasn't say everything. I look at Charlie now my face with worry.
"Charlie, What's going on?" I ask.
"Its nothing much, Just starting to remember that Ted and I are leaving in 2 weeks." His face went sad. "This trip has been fantastic, Its been so good for me mentally and I dont wanna leave."
"Charlie, You can always visit anyone. People would be more then willing to visit you too." I Gave him a hug, "But for now, Enjoy the time you are here." We let go and headed inside, Charlie already seemed to be better. As I walked In Ted was too focused on the game to notice I had walked in. Looking at Charlie I grin, Signaling for him to be silent. I snuck behind Ted waiting for the game to end, As he won the final Mario race he jumped up celebrating. He turned around to see me, His face even brighter as he leaped for a hug. "Hello to you too." I laughed holding on to Ted. I wish I could kiss him, Only if Charlie and Schlatt knew.
