Chapter Thirteen

TW: Suicidal Thoughts, Abusive Behavior

Waking up I see Ted still laying in bed, I think about staying with him for a little longer. I decided to get up and make the group breakfast. Checking my phone, 8am. Walking to the kitchen I run into Charlie.

"Hey Charlie! Anyone else awake?" I ask.

"Good morning to you too." His voice showed that he had just woken up. "I dont think anyone else is awake, I was gonna grab food."

"I was gonna make everyone food then wake people up. Wanna help?" I started walking to the kitchen trying to be quite. Charlie nodded his head. "Lets do some eggs and bacon." Charlie grabbed some pans as I grabbed the food.

"Hey Y/n?" Charlie looked at me. "Was everything okay yesterday with you and Ted?"

"Yeah, I just had to apologize for Alli. She was very forward yesterday before going down to the lobby." I looked into the Livingroom seeing her still asleep. "Truth is she's not the best friend out there, But I'm all she has." Charlie looked at me giving a hug. We left the topic there finishing food. I ran over to the guest room to wake Ted up, Sitting on the end of the bowl I got an idea. I walked to the door getting a running head start, jumping right onto Ted.

"Y/n?" Ted woke up right away. Before I could get off of him I felt him grab my waist, not only did i feel my face turn red I felt butterfly's go crazy in my stomach. "Dont you know You have my attention?" His voice deeper then normal.

"Um, I... I made food." I struggled to form a sentence. Ted let go of my waist letting me get off the top of him. Walking to the kitchen I see Charlie and Schlatt waking Alli up. "Attention everyone, Food is served. Once the last person finishes eating we open gifts." Everyone ran into the kitchen eating as fast as thy could. Schlatt and Charlie were done first then Alli, Ted and last was Me. I go meet everyone under the tree, Alli holding all her gifts.

"Alli, Open mine last please." I said. She opened her gifts from the guys first, I had told them what to get her. Schlatt gave a coupon to the cafe she likes, Charlie gifted a new microphone, And Ted gave a whole photo album of her performing on Broadway.

"These are fantastic! Thank you guys." She said grabbing mine. Holding the small envelope she opened it, Inside there was a plane ticket to our home town. "Oh." She looked at the gift with disgust. "Thanks." She threw it to the side. Next to open gifts was Charlie. He along with the rest of the guys received 50$ as their gift. Charlie opened mine, A large thing a clear green slime with a popsicle stick and a pair of custom shoes that had his name on them.

"Your joking, Y/n these are sick." Charlie gave me a hug. Opening Ted and Schlatt's gifts. Both of them worked together to buy a new recording system for him. "Thanks you guys, I needed this!" They laughed. Looking at Schlatt he started on his gifts, Charlie started giggling as he handed his gift.

"Your fucking with me, A cardboard cutout of myself?" Schlatt sighed, He laughed after a moment of gawking over himself. Ted handed his gift as well as laughing. "What is this?" He pulled out a water bottle that said 'I Love Men'. The two guys looked at each other and back at Schlatt.

"We have one more thing for you." Ted ran out of the room coming back pushing a very large object with a tarp. Under it was a life sized tiger statue, thing. "We were told to name it Jambo 2"

"This is sick." Schlatt said through laughing. After messing with his new friend for a moment I handed mine. His funny gift was a small B-B gun that had his Initials in it. "A custom gun?" I nodded. He opened his other gift, It was a large coffee pillow that was the same kind he had when I ran into him. "How did you get this?"

"I have My ways." I hugged Schlatt as he admired his gun. Next to receive gifts was Ted. "Ted, Can you open mine last?" I asked.

"Save the best for last." He smiled. Opening Charlies, He received a brand new polaroid camera. He had broken his last on recently so he was very excited. Schlatt gave a large box, as Ted opened it he stared at Schlatt. "Really? REALLY?" Ted was given tons of nerds rope. A second box was given minutes later, Full with thousands of film for his new polaroid. "That makes it better, I suppose." He sighed. Looking over to me I handed gift one, A dozen Milk bottles. "I forgot I told you about that." He laughed, As I held out the second gift he looked at me.

"I hope you like it." I said As he took it. Opening the gift he sees the custom locket i got with out initials. Inside had a picture of the two of us. His face shot up, I pulled mine out from under my shirt. "I got a matching one." He grabbed me, The hug lasted for a minute giving a kiss on my head before letting go.

"This is the best gift ever N/n." He said looking at it. Now it was my turn, I was so nervous to open my gifts. Charlie handed me mine first, Hearing it rattle I could tell it was Lego. It was the Statue of liberty I had looked at.

"Now you will always remember this city." He smiled. Schlatt gave me two large boxes, In the first one was A large Jambo plush and in the second was a large Rammie.

"Thank you Schlatt, I love anything soft." I laughed. Alli looked at me.

"My gift is more something I need to tell you." She said. "I ran in Ryan in central park the other day." My face went pale. I hadn't heard that name in almost 3 years. "He wanted to get together, but since you were in town I set up a date for you two!" She had the largest smile. She knew we broke up, but I never told her how bad he was. I looked at Ted.

"Here's my gift." He handed me a large bag. "His name Is Teddy." He said as I pulled out a Stuffed bear wearing on of his hoodies. I already started to feel better. "The hoodie is yours to wear as well." I jumped to hug Ted, As he stopped me he held out a smaller box. Inside was a beautiful bracelet with a bead in the middle. Looking at the bead it had a photo of me and him the first night we hung out.

"This is the best gift ever Ted!" I finally gave him the hug, falling to the ground laughing. Catching my breath I remembered Jambo. "Schlatt, I have some things for Jambo and the other one." I said grabbing the final gift from the tree, A couple of toys and food. Everyone went towards there own ways to enjoy their new gifts. I felt a pull on my arm.

"Y/n, Do you wanna talk about Allis gift." I look over, It was Ted. I nod and lead him to the porch. walking out I see the snow falling for the first time this Christmas season.

"I dont know what to do. Ryan is someone I dated years ago, All because Alli wanted me too. He treated me so poorly, I started to hate myself and got into a really dark place. I even tried to end it all. I dont wanna see him, Or talk to him." I cried. Ted grabbed me closely.

"Your safe now." He whispered. "No one not even Alli is getting to you now." As he said that I hear someone come outside.

"Y/n?" It was Alli. "You didn't say anything about your gift, I figured its been long enough that you cant be dramatic about this anymore." All I could do was look down and continue to cry on Teds shoulder.

"Alli, Y/n isn't going to meet with Ryan." Ted said.

"She can speak for herself." Alli said looking at me. She was being so rude, more then normal.

"Alli, Why are you being such a bitch? This entire time I've been here your always in my life, trying to decide what I should do or who I should talk to." I snapped. She stared at me, But I felt so confident.

"If you weren't leaving me to hangout with Ted I wouldn't be this way." She stared at Ted.

"No, That no excuse. Youve been performing, You invited them the your show, Your just controlling and cant take that I'm done with it. I would Like you to leave." I stood up, She walked inside to grab her stuff. She came back 5min later walking away. I look at Ted who just held me, I cried from the stress of everything. "Ted." I whispered. "I'm only here still cause of you. I hate the city, I hate the noise, I hate the people." I paused looking up, "But the city is so much better with you."
