Chapter Twelve

-Time Skip To The Day Before Christmas At Schlatt's-

I Woke up to the light peaking through the hotel window into the bedroom. I sit up rubbing my eyes, I look around not seeing Ted anywhere. Checking my phone to see the time, 1pm. I see I had missed calls from Alli and texts from Ted. I sit up about to call Alli back when I hear the room door open. Two voices could be heard, One male and one female.

"Is Y/n still sleeping?" The female asked. The voice sounded a lot like Allis, I finally got fully up seeing Ted about to walk into the bedroom.

"Good morning sleepy head." He said with a smile. "You slept in so I went and helped Alli find her way." Ted moved to the side letting me get to Alli.

"Finally your awake." She rolled her eyes before engulfing me in a hug. "Me and Ted had some very fun conversations on our way here." She smirked. I looked over to Ted who was now avoiding eye contact.

"Its whatever, Ill figure out sooner then later what you told him." I looked at the two of them. "Now if you excuse me, I have stuff to do before we leave to Schlatt's." I walked back into the bedroom grabbing clothes and changing, I decided to wear a cute sweater and black leggings. Ted and Alli sat in the main area talking about the plans for the evening and Christmas plans. Once I got ready for the day and grabbed clothes for tomorrow I joined the two on the couch. 

We decided to watch Home alone as we waited for the time to pass, I was still tired from just waking up laying my head on Ted. This was normal for us but it hadn't gone to my head that Alli hadn't seen us together since her house. As Ted put his arm around me I hear Alli.

"Pardon?" I look up to Alli, she looked more annoyed then anything.

"What's wrong?" I sat fully up looking at Alli, Ted still having his arm around me.

"I'm your best friend and you didn't think to tell me that you grew the balls to ask Ted out?" She looked back and forth between us. I felt my cheeks turn bright red, I could tell Ted was looking at me. His head got closer to me as he whispered in my ear.

"I'm guessing someone's a little flustered." I looked at him having a large grin on his face.

"You wish." I looked back to Alli. "Me and Ted aren't dating." I said straight face as I could. Her eyes grew and annoyed was now confusion. "We just have gotten close." I said.

"Your joking." I shook my head at her. "Your Joking!" She said louder. I shook my head again. "That insane." Ted and I laughed at her remarks.

"Lets just watch the movie." Ted said as he looked at me. "You can still use me as a pillow." Ted said quietly. I laid my head back down and finished watching the movie. Once the movie was done it was time to leave. Grabbing our small bags we made our way down to the lobby, Meeting up with Charlie.

"Charlie, Right?" Alli asked. He nodded and looked at Ted who was still on edge. "Are Ted and Y/n dating?" She asked. I shot my head over to her and before I could speak Charlie got the first word.

"No, But if you ask me. They totally like each other." He looked at Me and ted who were just standing waiting for the conversation to end. Alli rolled her eyes again before grabbing my hand.

"Lets go!" She dragged me out of the hotel and all the way to Schlatt's. She looked back to Ted a couple of times asking for which way to go. We finally got to the house to see Schlatt sitting outside waiting for us. "Hey Schlatt, Long time no see." Alli finally let go of my hand to talk to him. I walk back over to Ted and Charlie.

"Hey Charlie, Can I have Ted for a moment?" I look up to Ted as Charlie walked away. Charlie waved the others inside as I sat down on the porch.

"Is everything okay Y/n?" Ted Looked at me concerned, Sitting down next to me he put his arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah, I wanted to say sorry about Alli earlier. I know Charlie and Schlatt tease us, But Alli was a lot this morning." I leaned my head on his shoulder. "The truth is, She's been like this before and it really fucked with me."

"Its okay, I didn't think twice about what she said. It's not her life so her opinion doesn't mean anything." He held on to me tighter. "You dont need to talk about anything you don't want to, But I'm keeping an eye on her from now on." No more words were said for a moment. We sat like that for as long as we could, But we hear Charlie from the door.

"I dont mean to burden this cute moment, But we are building gingerbread." We look to the door nodding our heads. Walking into the house I see Alli, She started making looks towards us as soon as we were both visible. "The teams will be, Myself as the judge." Charlie started speaking with an announcement voice. "Then Girls vs Boys! You will have an hours to build and decorate the best house. 1, 2, 3 GO!." Charlie yelled at us to start.

"Who ever loose has to make hot chocolate for Charlie and the other team." I suggested. Everyone was down with it giving some silly banter. The guys decided to make their house green and slimy, Team Suck Ups. Alli and I made ours like a little elf's house in the north pole, Team True Christmas. With the final minutes I placed little elf's hats made with chocolate kisses and the guys through green and more green.

"TIME!" Charlie shouted. "Lets see, Ted and Schlatt," He paused looking at all of it. "This is horrible, What were you even thinking? Its ugly, Destructive, broken and purely awful. 2/10." The guys complained over not doing well as Charlie walked over to ours. "Lets see, Alli and Y/n," Pausing again to look at all of it. "This is amazing, I haven't seen a house done this well in years. 8.5/10." We cheered at our victory, And even though Ted had lost he gave me the largest hug.

"I suppose now I must make hot chocolate that's as good as that house." Ted Smiled at me before sending me too the living room. As Ted and Schlatt walked in with 5 cups they sat down on the couch.

"So, For sleeping I'm assuming Ted and Y/n can share the guest bed." Schlatt looked over at us. I had no issue with it and neither did Ted. "Charlie and Alli, You two can decide you sleeps on the couch and who sleeps on the couch in my office." Charlie decided to take the office. We all finished our drinks and went to bed. Crawling into bed I snuggled up to Ted.

"Goodnight Ted." I muffled.

"Goodnight My love." He said even softer.

"What did you say?" I wanted to double check my ear were working.

"I said Goodnight N/n." He Said kissing my forehead.
