Chapter Six

TW: Drinking

We had arrived at Schlatt's house and were warmly welcomed. Walking in I noticed a furry little friend. Before even saying hello to Schlatt I ran over to the orange cat. He was so friendly and curled up right next to me. I sat on the floor next to him turning my head to finally talk to Schlatt.

"Hey! Thanks for inviting me." I had a huge smile on my face from the cat.

"Of course! No need to stay inside all night." He walked over to me and the cat, who didnt even notice him walk over. "I see Jambo has taken a liking to you." Schlatt said bending down to pet the cat.

"His name is Jambo? Is there some backstory?" I asked standing up. Before Schlatt could answer Ted chimed in.

"Jambo was the name of the first cat he wanted, He renamed this little guy when he got him." Ted was also over by the cat now.

"That sounds worse then what it was." Schlatt laughed.

"No version can make that story better, But Jambo is a cute name." I stood to the side as the two pet the cat. When they were done they walked over to living room area and sat. I joined them and so did Jambo. "Schlatt. We have the details for tomorrow." I said.

"What the fuck is tomorrow?" He asked, Ted laughed and shook his head.

"Dude, Your going to the musical thing. I dont care what you say." Ted looked dead serious. all the joking paused for a second, and Schlatt agreed. Ted had tamed him.

"That was scary, Never thought I would see Schlatt so tamed." I laughed, Ted joined in laughing as well. Schlatt on the other hand had words for me. 

"I'm no fucking animal, I'm not tamable. I'm a beast." He kept rambling on and on about how he is his own man, his own beast. I started to loose track after a minute. He randomly stood up and walked out of the room. I looked over to Ted who sat still , just shrugging at my questionable look. Schlatt walked back from the other room with a bottle of Alcohol and a shot glass. "We will play a game, Truth or drink." He said placing the bottle and glass down in front of everyone.

"More get to know you games." I laughed looking over to Ted. "I'm not getting as messed up as last night." I continued. Ted and Schlatt looked over to each other and grinned, I knew that I was screwed.

"Ill start." Schlatt said. His head turned directly to me. "Ted," He turned his head to Ted. "What happened on May 20?" Teds hand went straight for the bottle, pouring a shot and taking it in a sequence of seconds.

"I'm next then." Ted said. His head turned to me and a grin grew on his face. "No lies this time, What did you first think of when we tripped earlier?" I could tell the truth or I could take a shot, But that's pretty much just saying the truth. I Looked at Ted, Deciding to take the shot I hear Ted, "Oh Y/n, Rookie mistake."

"I'm assuming I'm next then, Ted..." I took a pause. "What did you think of first when we tripped?" I smirked. He shook his head taking another shot. Schlatt looked at us confusion all around his face.

"This is for both of you." Schlatt started his turn. "What the fuck happened, what tripping incident happened?" He asked. I saw Ted look at the bottle. "Who ever answers gets a freebie later." I decided that I had to answer.

"Basically Ted was a child and raced me down a couple flight of stairs, we tripped on the final stair and now its sorta an inside joke." I didn't mention the morning but I didn't lie either.  We kept on playing the game, Schlatt took a handful of shots, Ted took around 8, and I took 4 using my Freebie once. Looking at the time I noticed it was 3am. Schlatt had offered the guestroom in case it got too late.

"Ted you go take the bed, You slept on the floor last night." I said throwing my hair up.

"No no no, You deserve the bed Y/n." Ted had a bit much to drink and slurred his words. I led him to the bed and talked him into sleeping there. "Your so pretty Y/n." He spoke while I took care of him. A smile grew on my face, I chose to ignore him due to him being drunk. Once he was asleep I went back into the living room to see Schlatt.

"Hey! Ted is asleep." I sat down on the couch next to Schlatt and Jambo. Even though he had almost as much to drink as Ted, You could not tell. He looked at me with a serious face.

"Tell me what really happened today, With you and Ted." I just looked at him with shock, What did he mean, I told him earlier what happened. "I know what you told me in the game wasn't the full truth." I sighed. 

"The truth is, Last night I had a bit too much to drink and Ted brought me back to the hotel, I passed out and it was easier if I slept in his room. I woke up while he was in the shower and he walked out with only a towel." Schlatt gave me a strange look but was still listening. "It was awkward but also a simple mistake." Pausing and taking my breath, I continued. "I was meant to help Alli today but Ted is more familiar with what I was doing then I am. I asked him to join me and he did. Skip forward to us leaving her place and we raced down the stairs... The final step I trip causing Ted to trip, Landing directly on top of me." I stopped talking for a second. Schlatt started lightly laughing at the situation. He finished my story.

"And when he fell on you, You thought to this morning. You thought about shirtless Ted, And how he was laying right on top of you in that moment." He had the largest grin on his face. I could feel my face burn up to the words he was saying. 

"Oh fuck you! I'm going to bed." I stood up and headed towards the guest room.

"Be careful, Dont do anything I wouldn't." Schlatt said going into his room.

Why was I feeling this way

Why do I keep thinking about this morning? About the fall?

I fell Asleep shortly after going through my thoughts, falling asleep to the thought of Ted being near me.
