Pt. 10

"Zach is able to drive, so they're probably headed back here right now." Claire said as she tried to comfort herself, but it clearly wasn't working. On the table in front of her and Owen was a map of the island, around the center of the island was the park, and a foot away from that was a Megaraptor figure.

"I've been told that the Megaraptor is headed towards the aviary at the moment, now our best course of action is to cut it off ... Here" Owen said as he pointed at a location a foot from the park, but in between the Aviary and the Megaraptor. "I also have heard that we are sending ACU soldiers from above. This means we're approximately four days from it getting here, this isn't the last stand ... Yet. But we do need to think of the long term, I propose we use lethals, this thing didn't go down from tranquilizer darts."

"I have been given orders to bring this thing back to the park alive, Masrani want his attraction, Masrani shall get it, relatively unharmed." Hamada said as Owen sighed.

"Isn't there anything else we can do?" Claire said as she realized what would happen if the Megaraptor wasn't tranquilized before the boys were found.

"We can still issue an immediate evacuation, that's honestly the best choice." Owen said, but everyone groaned "Think about it, we evacuate the park, and then nuke the damn thing. It's pure genius."

"That's what they said about Godzilla, and that's only gotten worse." A man said as he played around in his chair.

"We aren't turning this place into a warzone." Claire said as she tried to ignore the guy. Suddenly Mr. Masrani walked in the room and stood in the center.

"If I don't make it out alive... Claire, I need you to take care of the park." Mr. Masrani said as he turned to leave.

"Wait, what are you going to do?" Claire asked, and Masrani chuckled.

"I'm gonna show this thing the way to hell." Masrani said as he left the room.
