Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom

Pt. 11

Zach and Greg drove up a dirt path, thick jungle restricted where they could go, but they could still turn around should they decide it the best decision. Suddenly the pair came upon a large wooden gate, the metal bits were rusted, and the wood had moss growing on it, but one thing was clear. On the gate was a sign that hung above where the boys would enter. It read "Welcome to Jurassic Park" in bold red letters, but little bits of the paint were peeling off.

"Where are we?" Greg asked as Zach looked around.

"Jurassic Park?" Zach then said as he drove towards the gate. Zach then got down, since the gate was closed and probably didn't have any more electrical energy to be powered remotely "I'm going to open the gate." Zach then walked up to the gate, and slowly pulled it open.

"What's wrong Zach?!" Greg asked as Zach struggled to open the gate.

"It's heavier than I thought! Can you see anything to make it easier?" Zach asked, and Greg sighed as he got out to help.

"I'll just help." Greg said as he pulled the gate open a little bit more, but then the gate stopped moving, and it wouldn't budge. It was barely wide enough for the boys to fit through. They stood there in suspense as they thought about their next decision.

"Should we?" Zach asked, and Greg thought for a minute.

"Sure" Greg said as he walked in, followed by Zach. The two saw a Lab off in the distance, and right in front of them was a massive Visitor Center "This is ... Amazing, I thought this place was shut down."

"No, nobody said that. Everybody only said the park was shut down." Zach said as he walked along the dirt pathway, when suddenly he heard a roar coming from within the Park's borders.

"What was that?" Zach asked as he slowly crept towards the Visitor Center, but then he saw something magnificent. A mixed herd of Triceratops and Ankylosaurus, stomping by. Babies sat in the center of the group, surrounded by their loving families. Zach sighed as he watched the dinosaurs run around and play, when suddenly a loud roar sounded, and the dinosaurs sprang into action to protect their young.

Suddenly a Baryonyx roared as it rushed into the clearing, and it swung it's claws at the herbivores as it looked for an opening. The Baryonyx roared as it stepped forward, but it was quickly attacked by a Triceratops. The Baryonyx roared as it slashed its claws at the Triceratops, and gave it a gash along it's neck, causing the poor thing to lay on the floor as it bled out.

"We have to back away... Slowly." Zach said as he and Greg slowly walked away, when suddenly a group of Stegosaurus rushed from behind them, causing the boys to stop in their tracks as the Stegosaurs rushed away from something else "shit."

Suddenly another Baryonyx became visible through the jungle where the Stegosaurs came from. The boys walked away from the carnivore slowly, but it was still dangerous to even be that close. Suddenly the first Baryonyx began trying to claw at the Ankylosaurus and Triceratops herd as the boys tried to get low so the Baryonyx pair couldn't see them.

"Greg" Zach whispered to get his brothers' attention "we need to get away slowly."

The Duo then slowly crept back towards the entrance to the original Jurassic Park, slowly making their way. The two Baryonyx roared as they looked for a way to get past the large adults and to the baby dinosaurs in the center. The boys then turned to try and get to the entrance faster, but Greg stepped on a twig, causing it to snap in half, alerting the Baryonyx pair to their location.

"To hell with it! Run!!" Zach shouted, but Greg was already running. The Baryonyx pair roared as they turned in the direction of the boys, and began rushing towards them at top speed. One of the two caught up quickly, and roared as it tried to take a bite out of Zach, but Zach sucked in the nick of time, causing the Baryonyx to crash into a small food stand.

Zach and Greg were nearly at the entrance to the park, when suddenly the second Baryonyx came from behind and nearly took Greg's head off, but Greg fell right as it was about to eat him. The Baryonyx then crashed into the gate as Zach helped Greg up, and then they rushed out of the original Park.

Zach frantically turned the key in the slot, but the Jeep wouldn't start no matter how much he tried. Suddenly a third Baryonyx roared as it crashed through the Gate, sending chunks of wood flying as the other two Baryonyx whimpered.

"Come on you hunk of junk!" Zach shouted as the Baryonyx roared and rushed to the boys "Hurry the Fuck up!" Suddenly the Jeep, started and Zach stomped on the gas, sending the Jeep jerking forward as it began to accelerate rapidly.

"Zach, it's right behind us!" Greg shouted as the Baryonyx roared, and Zach looked all around the Jeep for anything that could be used to defend themselves.

"This is an ACU Jeep, right? So look for a tranq gun or something!" Zach said as he made a sharp left turn, and the Baryonyx roared as it did the same "anything to throw would work too, it's too close for us to be picky anymore!"

"I got it!" Greg shouted as he tossed something at the Baryonyx, but the object hit the Baryonyx, fell to the ground, and got crushed.

"What the hell was that?!" Zach asked as he tried another sharp turn, but once again, the Baryonyx did the same with ease.

"It was a pickle!!!" It's all they had here a rotting jar of pickles!" Greg said in a panic as he continued looking, finally he grabbed something and tossed it at the Baryonyx who roared furiously.

"I have an idea!" Zach shouted as he looked to Greg, and then the gate.

"No! I am not doing that!" Greg shouted back as the other two Baryonyx roared and came from the jungle next to them.

"Either you do it or we die!" Zach shouted as Greg thought about it.

"Fine, but if I die, I am haunting you till the end of time!" Greg said as he unstrapped himself and got up slightly.

"Sounds fair!" Zach shouted as they passed the gate, and Greg jumped off, rolling as he hit the ground, and the Baryonyx trio roared as they continued chasing Zach, oblivious to the fact that Greg was now the easiest target.

Greg began following the gate, looking for something. Finally he stopped running and waved to Zach so that Zach knew he had found what he needed.

"Okay, let's see, the can of gasoline, inside the generator, this could work ..." Greg said as he opened the can of Gasoline and the Generator tank, and began filling the generator up.

Meanwhile Zach was driving in between buildings and trees to try and lose the trio of Baryonyx, but they knew the environment better than he did. Zach looked around, and saw Greg wave to him. A second wave, it meant he was finished filling the generator, now it was time to turn it on.

"Come on Greg! They're too fast, any longer and there might not be a next time!" Zach shouted as he turned to more open land, when suddenly Greg shouted back.

"Hurry your butt over her then!" Greg shout as he pressed, something and sparks flew from a few of the buildings the Baryonyx had crushed. Zach then did an extremely sharp turn for the gate as Greg closed the gate enough for the Jeep to fit through.

"They're too fast!" Zach shouted as Greg pressed a button on the gate, and ran out so he wasn't caught easily. Zach got closer by the second, but so too did the Baryonyx. Any longer and Zach might end up the lunch for the Baryonyx trio. As the thoughts raced through Zach's mind, he passed he gate, and it began to close, a few seconds later the Baryonyx hit into the gate, enough to stop the closing, but not enough to break the gate down, and definitely not enough to avoid the electrical charge. Sparks flew from the gate as the Baryonyx roared in pain as it's two allies watched in shock.

"That's what you get sucker!" Greg and Zach shouted as they did a little victory dance.

"Good job Greg! Without you, we'd still be on the run." Zach said as he opened the door for Greg, and Greg got in as Zach began driving.

"Kinda like the real life version of that video game you showed me." Greg said, and Zach laughed as they drove off.
