Vaidehi

I can't believe it. I really can't.

I am falling in love, and that too with this Atom Bomb.

And this feeling is driving me crazy, making me bolder, creating a different version of myself.

Whenever the wind plays with his hair, I feel an irresistible urge to run my fingers through it, tangling those perfectly styled locks just to see his reaction.

I imagine his eyes narrowing, a mix of irritation and amusement flickering across his face. The thought makes my heart race. God, he will get so angry. But it's a risk I'm willing to take, just to see that fire in his eyes and feel the thrill of pushing his buttons.

How did I fall for this man? This handsome, infuriating man who can make my heart flutter with a single glance.

And the coincidence is that whenever I try to steal a glance at him, I find him already staring at me, rather than focusing on driving ahead. His gaze is intense, but he seems lost somewhere, somewhere inside me, inside my soul or maybe inside my heart.

Oh God, what will I do with this man? My man.

Maybe I am really going insane.

Biting my lower lip, I shifted my gaze to Dhruv, who was sitting on my lap, playing some video game and showing me something.

"Do you know how to play this game, Chachi?" he asked, pulling my face towards him to get my attention.

"Umm... no," I replied, fiddling with the hem of my dress as I could feel Sanskaar's side glance on me.

Dhruv facepalmed his head. "Ofo, I was thinking to do a match between you and Chachu. But it's fine, I will teach you, then you will easily be able to beat him in the game."

"Accha?" Sanskaar lifted his brows, a small smile covering his lips.

I love the way his lips curve.

"Yes, did you forget the last time you lost to me in the game? And you know, Chachi, he still didn't accept his defeat. I had to complain to Dadi before he finally agreed."

We both chuckled.

"Don't you both play games?" he continued. "What is this behavior, Chachu? You play so many games with me, then why don't you play with Chachi?"

"Your Chachi is scared of losing to me."

"I am not!" I retorted.

"Really?" He leaned closer, his eyes challenging me. "Then prove it."

"I don't need to prove"

How can he be so irritatingly cute at the same time?

I watched him as he pretended to be completely focused on the road, yet I could feel his gaze flitting back to me. Every time he smirked or raised an eyebrow, it sent my heart into a wild dance. The way he teased me, the way his eyes sparkled with mischief, it was maddening and adorable all at once.

Dhruv was still chattering away about the game, but my mind kept wandering back to Sanskaar. His presence was like a magnetic field, pulling me in and making it impossible to focus on anything else.

"Chachi, are you listening?" Dhruv's voice brought me back to the present.

"Your chachi seems to be lost..." Sanskaar continued, a teasing note in his voice, "somewhere else."
