✿ Vaidehi✿
Returning from college, I tidied up my room, or rather our common room, clearing the mess I had created. Atom bomb is returning today, and I surely don't want him to think that I live like garbage when alone. No, that's not true. Not at all!
The fact is that I stay busy as if I have a lot of work to do. Not everyone is free like him to enjoy vacations, so amidst all that, I tend to forget cleaning my room.
Whatever, I'm still embarrassed about the fact that he heard me talking with Birdie, my new friend, and he heard all those things I complained about him. Well, why should I worry about it? The truth is always bitter. He'll have to accept that he's an atom bomb.
I walked onto the balcony, waiting for Birdie. She's going to bring more of her friends today. I just love birds and animals, and I'm glad I noticed her on the balcony. When I fed her, she started coming daily to talk with me.
None of us understands each other, but we still somehow do.
My thoughts were broken by my friend, Birdie, who is a small yellow-colored bird and too cute as well. "Wait, I'm bringing your food." I rushed inside, picking her food from the table and placed it in the utensil kept for her.
She loves plants like me, and maybe it was the plants I have placed on this balcony that attracted her at first. Finally, I met someone with the same interest as me.
She flew and sat on my hand, almost kissing my palm with her beak. "That intolerable man is returning today," she let out a low chirp. See, even she knows him. Maybe sometime in the past, she had seen him on the balcony and maybe didn't attempt to come here due to him.
"Wait, your water must have gotten hot. Let me bring cold water. Okay? Wait for me," she chirped in her tone.
She sings so well.
I filled the earthen pot with cold water and was walking ahead carefully, holding it and focusing on its water level when I collided with something. No, I mean someone.
Not to mention half of the water spilled over his face.
What a cool welcome for Mr. Suryavanshi.
"Arghh..." He wiped his face, and then I realized he was holding my wrist with his other hand.
"Dekh ke nahi chalti ho kya?"
"Nahi, sungh ke chalti hoon," I replied back.
"To mujhe sungh nahi sakti thi?"
"Behosh hone ka shauk nahi hai mujhe" Saying this, I pushed him aside, leaving him to think of a comeback and walked back inside, filling the water again.
When I went back to the room, his bags were already placed there, and he was in the shower. I walked back, sitting near my friend who was waiting to drink water.
"Sorry, got late due to the man I was telling you about," she let out a shrieking chirp. Even she doesn't like him.
After talking with her for a while, I bid her bye and sat back on the bed, picking one of my books from the nightstand and putting in my earpods. Reading while listening to music is just so different.
But due to this, I didn't realize when he stepped out of the shower. When I blinked my eyes up from the book, imagining that scene, my eyes landed on him, who was busy observing himself in the mirror, shirtless and in a towel only.
"AAaa..." I almost screamed, the book dropping from my hand straight to the ground, and I covered my eyes with my hand. "Can't you wear a shirt?"
✦Sankaar✦
"Woman, you screamed as if you saw a ghost. And if you have this much of a problem, keep your eyes closed. I can't even have my freedom like this, and in these few days, you have made this room look like that of an environmentalist."
