Fitz coughed as Keefe let go him, oxygen filled his lungs while he heard Sophie's scream. Keefe laid on top of her, his hands covering her nose and mouth. He pulled out a yellow crystal. Fitz tried to grab it but in a blink of an eye, they are gone.
The crystal laid there quietly.

Sophie woke up with the sounds of talking. Her hands were tied behind her back and her legs were tied together tightly. She couldn't speak since her mouth was stuffed with a piece of cloth.
"Well done, son."
"I'm not your son." Sophie almost gasped when she heard Keefe's voice.
"She will be a useful bait, and you still have a lot to learn."
"She's awake."
Sophie tried to pretend she's asleep but she couldn't help but groan when Keefe kicked her stomach.
"Sophie..." Keefe called poisonously. He took the piece of cloth out of her mouth.
"Don't." Sophie begged.
She curled up against the cold corner, getting away from her insane ex as far as possible. Searing pain cut off Sophie's thoughts, making her wail loudly in pain. The familiar heat reminded her of a fire.
Is Keefe a Pyrokinetic?
Tears rolled down her face as the severe pain continued to make Sophie scream. She couldn't bear it anymore.
And everything went black.

It's all your fault. Fitz's reminded himself. Now he is all alone. The rest of their friends are all in the Elite Towers, except for Sophie and that traitor.
I will find her.
He picked up the crystal Keefe left there and grabbed his hidden spear. He stared at the letters cut on the ring on his right hand. S.E.F.
"I will bring you back, or die trying."
