Sophie knew it was today. She stood in the corner of the backstage in a red dress with ruffles, which Edaline made her wear, of course, "You're only going to show your face to the audiences, Sophie, don't get too nervous." Tam told her.
"But I am nervous!" Sophie argued. She never knew that Tam can be the one who comforts others.
"Fitz will be there, if that makes you better." Tam left.

Sophie finally got a chance to get rid of the chaos from the backstage, she squeezed through the crowd, trying to find Fitz.
Stong arms wrapped around Sophie. Fitz petted her head gently, right as the other students came out of the backstage to see their family and say goodbye to their friends.
"Where have you been?" Sophie pouted. Fitz flashed his Hollywood-movie-star smile, without Sophie noticing, he kneeled on one knee. Sophie saw several heads turn their way, she was 90% sure that her cheeks are crimson red.
Fitz cleared his throat. "Sophie Elizabeth Foster, will you..." she stared at the palm-sized box Fitz took out from his cape pocket "Marry me?" he said as he opened the box. Two rings laid there, both of them are made of silver.
Sophie couldn't help turning red as she saw this. Everyone turned to stare at them, Sophie knew all of them are chanting ' Yes. Yes. Yes.' in their minds.
"Yes." she said slowly, and when she did, Fitz slid the ring with a teal diamond, decorated with tiny sapphires and clear diamonds on her finger. With the whold crowd cheering, Sophie took the other ring, which is decorated with a ruby and tiny tints of gold, and slid it onto Fitz's.
They wrapped their arms around each other. The crowd cheered louder as Fitz tilted Sophie's chin, leaning closer, and planted a long, passionate kiss on her lips.
