"Well, Sophie, skipping classes like this isn't going to help you graduate." Fitz sighed as he watch Sophie drank down the fifth elixir of the week.
"I missed you." Sophie replied after swallowing down the unsavoring elixir. "And it's not like I wanted to make those explosions happen."
Fitz's lips stretched into a smile, leaning closer to Sophie, kissing her soft lips, enjoying the moment when nobody will interrupt.
"Sophie!!! That burn is taking you forever, isn't it?" Biana's growl rang from the other side of the door.
"Do you want to tell them about this, Sophie?" Fitz whispered in Sophie's ear "About us."
The word made Sophie blush. "Not now. I just broke up with him like... three weeks ago, and..."
"Like what I said before: You set the pace, and I'll follow your lead." Fitz petted her head gently, tucked a strand of her waist-length blonde hair behind her ear and let her continue with her next lesson before Biana could complain again.

"I knew you ran off with my brother." Biana said as Sophie bent down to lick the tiny piece of metal on her locker, which tastes like Mallowmelt.
"Sorry?" Sophie replied, trying to be casual.
"I saw that blush, Sophie!" Biana was already half her way to squealing. "And you haven't told me about your disappearance!"
"And me." Dex's voice rang behind her. She quickly turned around and saw the others, all standing behind her.
"And 'us', Dex." Tam corrected.
"Whatever." Dex murmured.
Sophie sighed, wanting to stop this conversation. "So, what exactly happened, Sophie." Linh pressured.
"Long story short: Keefe joined the Neverseen." Sophie replied, refusing to say more.
She waited the others to get what she was saying. "So this is why you have a bandage on your arm?" Linh said.
Sophie nodded. All she can do now is try hard to prevent Keefe from attacking the innocent.
