The rest of Sophie's week was in the library or in Fitz's healing center. She searched the whole Foxfire library for Cognate bonds. And all she got was: Cognate bonds cannot be reconnected after breaking.
Sophie sighed. Maybe luck wasn't on her side.

The time Sophie spent in the healing centrer decreased after Fitz told her to focus on her subjects, but she sometimes showed up just to make out with him. Fitz poured the lime green liquid into the tiny bottles and screwed the lids tightly. Elwin's making him stay at Foxfire to take his place while he'll be going back to the one in Atlantis.
Fitz heard the door creaked loudly, Sophie entered with a disappointed face.
"Soph." Fitz called. He did call Sophie to come today, to show her new things.
"Fitz." Fitz can see her cheeks turning red when he said the nickname.
Fitz handed her a tiny vial, containing midnight blue liquid. "What's this?" Sophie asked curiously, staring the half-transparent liquid in every angle.
"That's for your scars." Fitz replied.
Fitz sat down on the nearest cot, pulling Sophie on his lap, with their lips touching. Fitz finally parted, both of them are panting heavily. Sophie stuffed the vial in her pocked as Fitz put a large cloak around her, pulling up her hood to cover her face. "Fitz?" Sophie asked "What are you doing?" She felt Fitz's hand gently petted her head "There's nothing about Cognates in the students' library, isn't it? I'm taking you to the Forbidden section, Sophie."
"There is?"
"Follow me and don't make a sound." Fitz whispered.

"I seldom see you down here, Fitz." The librarian greeted them politely. "Do you need help with finding the books you need?"
"No thanks, my assisstant and I will undeniably find all the information we need."
Sophie followed Fitz to the very end of the library, Fitz went behind the curtains and Sophie followed. A large sculpture of a woman stood there, Sophie did not know who she is. "Snap twice." Fitz said. Sophie snapped twice, for a second, nothing happened. The sculpture moved backwards, revealing the entrance to the Forbidden section. Fitz and Sophie enteered the dark room, the room was so dark that Sophie couldn't see her own fingers.
Sophie turn towards the light, Fitz was carrying two small glass lamps, after handing Sophie one, they started to work.
