The earliest Disney movies all had at least one scene that terrified children, like the forest in Snow White or the pink elephants in Dumbo.
But the Night on Bald Mountain segment of Fantasia is actually famous for scaring children.
When the movie was released, parents actually wrote complaint letters to Walt about how scary the scene was.
Some even made phone calls to the studio to complain!
And they still make those complaints today, believe it or not.
