For the first time ever, Walt didn't care what colors his crew used for this movie.

He actually told them to use whatever colors they wanted with no instructions. 

That really was a first, especially since Walt always had high standards for what his movies would look like. 

But this was basically freestyle coloring. 

And it looks beautiful! 

Isn't that cool?
