It made Japan paranoid

This movie was made during the great World War 2, as many know.

1940 was the year when Japan dropped the bomb on Pearl Harbor, which was how the US got involved in the war.

But Walt Disney's creativity gave Japan another reason to battle the US.

So during the war, Japan banned Fantasia from its country for a kinda ridiculous reason.

The government actually thought that if Japan saw how beautiful American art is, the nation would be demoralized.

But the Japanese navy violated the ban and showed the movie to Mituso Seo, an animated movie director from their country, so he could make his own movie to par with it.

At least the navy had common sense.
