Not a real orchestra
The orchestra Leopold Stokowski conducts was supposed to be the Philadelphia Orchestra.
But really, it was just a bunch of trained musicians Walt hired himself.
It actually included some of Disney's employees, including musician Paul J. Smith and sound effects provider Jimmy MacDonald.
Smooth move, Walt.
So Deems Taylor kinda lied about the orchestra.
