I jump up from my pillow. It was just a dream...thank god. As much as I love horror movies, I really need to stop watching them before I go to bed. I check my phone to see what time it was.

I groan and try to go back to sleep, since I have to be awake for my first day at a new school in two hours. After a failed attempt of falling back asleep due to the nightmare I just had, I decided it would be smart to start getting ready now.
I stand up and catch my balance and walk to my chair. I grabbed my towel off of it and head down the hall to the bathroom. I put on my shower playlist and get in the shower. I get out and wrap a towel around my body and head to my room. I continue to play my music as I get dressed and do my makeup.
It was cold out today so I put on a long sleeve shirt and a jacket. I grab my favorite jeans and add a belt to accessorize. I also added a bit of jewelry. Today, I wanted to do just a simple makeup look because I didn't want to stand out too much. I still wanted to look good though. I dried and curled my hair and went to the living room. I checked the time on my phone again.

I still had time before I had to leave, so I made myself a cup of coffee and watched TikTok on my phone. It was getting late so I went to my sister Peyton's room to see if she was almost ready.
When I opened the door, she was sat on her floor doing her makeup in front on the mirror. Her hair was done and I saw an outfit laid out on her floor, so I left her alone to finish.
At 6:30, she walked out of her room and sat down on the couch with me, wearing some flared jeans, a sweater and a zip-up jacket. I liked her outfit. Our dad walked into the living room with us and told us to grab our bags and get our shoes on. We both put on our Uggs and get out to the car. I sit in the passenger seat and Peyton in the back. I post a photo on instagram.
