Chapter seven - bobby

I wake up and check my phone for the time.

I sat up on my bed and stared at the wall for a minute. When I finally collected myself, I got up and got ready. My hair was put in a low ponytail, and I didn't wear any makeup. I wore a black tank top with a green zip-up jacket and brown cargo pants paired with my converse.

Once I finished my morning routine and sat in the couch, waiting for my dad. Then I remembered, he had to leave early today so he was already gone. I texted the only people I knew that could possibly give me and my sister a ride.

"PEYTON! THE BOYS ARE PICKING US UP! LETS GO!" I yell so Peyton could hear me from her room. "Damn it. Thought I'd be able to stay home today" he sighed. "Too bad let's go" I guide her to the shoe pile. She put on her uggs and we walk out the door, waiting for the boys to arrive.

The minivan pulls up outside of our building and Nick opens the back door. "Get in" he waves toward himself. I get in the middle and Peyton gets in after. Usually we'd switch but she had to be dropped off first.

We arrived at the middle school and Peyton got out. I hugged her goodbye and she left. Matt exited the line and then drove to our school.

At school, I went to my locker and felt someone standing very close behind me. I turn around to see Bobby. Bobby had a crush on me and definitely made sure it was known. He had made many romantic gestures towards me that I rejected but he never seemed to get the hint. He was an asshole. He bullied kids, was mean to teachers, got into fights, and just wasn't someone you would want to be around.

"Hey Vivi" he smirked. "Don't call me that Bobby" I roll my eyes. "Go to prom with me" he smiled. Did he actually think that was going to happen? "Uhh, no. Not happening Bob" I pressed my lips together. I recently found out he hated when people called him bob so I started doing it when he approached me, and it worked most of the time. This time, he ignored it. Damn it.

"Why not baby?" he caressed my shoulder. I backhanded his face and he took a step back. "What the fuck you psycho bitch! I was just trying to be nice" he yelled so everyone surrounding us could hear. A nearby teacher intervened and asked what happened. I told her the situation and she sent us both to the principal.

I explained what happened to the principal and he allowed me to go back to class and Bobby had to stay.

I went to my homeroom and sat in my seat. Matt gave me a questioning look. "Why are you late?" He whispered to me. "Bobby got me sent to the principals office" I sigh. "Asshole" he scoffs. "Matt, Vivianne, please keep your personal conversations for after class" Mr. Winston said in front of the class. A few giggles scattered around the room and Matt and I stopped talking.

The day passed and it was now time to go. I went to my locker to grab my things when I feel a presence behind me. "Matt, what are you doing?" I turn around. "I saw Bobby looking at you so I came over. Also, do you want a ride home?" he quietly spoke. "Oh, thanks and sure" I smile. He nodded and waits for me to grab my things. Before I finish, I hear Bobby call out my name.

"Vivi! Vivianne! Hey baby!" he yelled through the crowded halls. I tried to ignore him but he just got closer and closer. "Shut up Bob. I told you not to call me that" I grunt. "Aww what wrong Vivi?" He puts in hand on my face. Matt shoves him off of me.

"What's your problem dude? Who even are you?" Bobby whined. "Bobby, go" Matt glared at him. Booby scoffed and walked away, giving us the finger as he went.

"You good Viv?" Matt asks. "I'm fine I guess. Thank you though. I really appreciate it" I give a small smile and slightly tilt my head to the side. "No problem" he mumbled.

There was a silence between the two of us that didn't break until we enter the car.

"Hey Viv" Nick hugs me as I climb in the back seat. "Hey Nick" I hug him back. We start driving to my house for them to drop me off. "Bye guys" I yell as I run to the door. "Bye!" I hear two voices yell back. "Bye" I hear a slight third voice say after them. I wave and go into my building. Today wasn't...terrible.
