Chapter 16

Beginning of Batman Hush

(Note I'm making Zander and Damian 16 years old in this story and I'm also changing his love interest from Beast Boy to Superboy Conner Kent.)
Zander's P.O.V

Dad took me to the gala with him.

"We're clear Alfred update." Dad said over the comms

"None as of yet. Master Bruce, it is acceptable to take one night off. Speak to someone about sports." Alfred said to him

"Selina Kyle is here." Dad said

"Perhaps Ms. Kyle is merely enjoying the festivities. She hasn't been involved in any illegal activity for at least a year." Alfred said

"Sixteen months." I said

"Come on, it's Catwoman. She's probably casing the joint." Dick said over comms

"You were only supposed to be scouting tonight. Sounds like it went sideways." Dad said

"Yeah, Found out the shipment was tonight, so I though I'd torch it. Who knew heroin was so flammable?" Dick said

"We'll be there in five." I said to him.

"Five? Where's the trust? It's over in two Gotham PD is in, so I'm out" Dick said to us

"Sir, do you have an idea what Ms. Kyle's interest in the gala would be?" Alfred asked us.

"I'll ask" Dad said walking over to Selina

"Well, knock me over with a feather. Bruce Wayne mixing with the swells. So what do they owe the honor?" She asked dad.

"It's mandatory. I'm a board member. How have you been Selina? Anything new?" Dad asked her

"You could say I'm at a crossroads. I used to love my work at the gallery. But now.." Selina said.

"Sometimes change is good." Dad said to her

"Like you would know, who's this with you?" She asked dad.

"Selina this is my son Zander, Zander, this is Selina Kyle." Dad said introducing us.

"Nice to meet you Zander." She told me holding out her hand.

"You as well Ms. Kyle." I told her shaking her hand.

"Please call me Selina." She told me.

"I'll try." I said to her shyly.

"Bruce? You're actually here. You never come to these things." a guy said walking over to us.

"It's like seeing a unicorn in a 5,000 dollar suit." Selina said and I chuckled at what she said.

"Selina, Zander, this is Thomas Elliot, good friend and world-renowned brain surgeon. Thomas, Selina Kyle, and my son Zander Wayne." Dad introduced us to him

"Hello. And I wouldn't say 'world-renowned'/ Maybe the Us and parts of Canada." Thomas said shaking both of our hands

"Tom and I were inseparable as kids, especially after losing my parents." Dad told us

"You're not getting away this time. Come on let's have a drink, non-alcholic for the kid of course." He said and we followed him.

"Sorry to interupt Master Bruce and Master Zander, but I'm receiving reports that Bane has abducted a child. Ringing your phone now Master Bruce." Alfred told us.

"This needs my attention. But it was good seeing you. I'd like to catch up soon." Dad said to Selina and walked away.

"Bye Selina it was nice meeting you."I said to her and followed after dad. We both ran to his car where our suits were and got changed. I didn't put my hood up and I only had my goggles covering my face, this time.

We both got to the plant and Alfred came on over the comms.

"The child was taken from the playground in broad daylight." Alfred said as I grappled behind one of the gunmen and kicked his ass.

"It's not like Bane to be so public." Dad said and we threw some batarangs at the guardman that was near the boy.

"Everything will be fine, Edward." I said and began untying him.

"Where is he! Where's my damn money!" Bane yelled at us and started to attack us so we threw batarangs at him.

"Stupid old Bat, and Bird, my Venom is stronger, I am Stronger!" He yelled at us and attacked again

"I need my money." He said holding me up by my throat so I tazed his eyes. Me and da jumped down to the lower level.

"Isn't Bane usually a bit more eloquent?" Alfred asked us.

"It must be a side effect of the new Venom design. Which means his mind is under the same strain." Dad said

"Here's your money come get it." I said and threw a Batarang that cut his Venom tube and electrocuted him. Edward came over to us.

"Your parents are waiting at the front." Dad told him and he started to run off but not before kicking Bane and calling him an asshole. I laughed at that. We put Bane and cuffs when I saw a leaf and handed it to dad.

"Batman, Sparrow. Apologizes for the interruption." We heard and turned around to see Lady Shiva.

"Lady Shiva. the League of Assassins has no business here." Dad told her.

"Perhaps we do. The League has been in flux, different factions vying for power." She said.

"And?" I asked

"And in the chaos, the life-giving power of a Lazarus Pit. was exploited by an unknown intruder. I would ask if you both know anything of this matter." She told us.

"No, but we'll look into it." Dad said to her

"My thanks, it was a pleasure to see you work, and it was good to see you again Zander." She said to us.

"Next time, call first." I told her.

Jim came walking in right after,

"Is it too much to ask for one quiet weekend?" Jim asked

"Apparently." Dad told him

"Well, thanks for saving the day, as usuall. Wait, where's the ransom?" Jim said and me and dad looked up to see Selina climbing out the window with it.

We chased after her to the roof tops.

"Catwoman!" Dad yelled to her

"Took you both long enough. Like the view, it's the only thing. You'll catch tonight. " She said jumping off the building and landing on a train. Dad and I grappled after her but both of our lines were shot at and then broke. Dad grabbed me and tried to grab on to a gargoyle but it broke and we both fell onto the ground of an alleyway, He broke my fall but we both still got badly hurt. We both fell unconscious, and everything after was a blur.

Going to end that there I know I did the movies out of order but I couldn't really find a good spot to put Zander in during the Death of Superman or Reign of the Supermen, but I'll be sure to write them if I figure it out. Anyways I know I changed Zander's love interest from Beast Boy to Super Boy but that is only because I can see them being together more then him and Garfield.
