Chapter 10

Zander's P.O.V

I walked into the training room to see the other's watching Damian train.

"How long has he been training?" I asked walking up next to Beast Boy.

"He hasn't stopped for an hour and a half" Blue Beetle told me.

"Damian it's time to let others have their turn" Starfire told him.

"I'm not finished" Damian said and Blue Beetle turned off the simulation.

"Gee, how'd that happen?" Blue Beetle commented sarcastically, and Damian threw a batarang at him.

"Dami, what the hell?" I asked him.

"I heard his tech was fast, I wanted to see how fast." He commented and I mentally facepalmed.

"Don't mess with us little man." Blue Beetle said walking over to Damian.

"Alright. I can see that were are getting off on the wrong foot. Damian this is a team effert. We need to be willing to accommodate others." Starfire told him as me, Raven and Beast Boy walked over to them.

"Nightwing said you were a princess, Exiled no doubt." Damian said.

"Damian show a little respect." I told him and he glared at me.

"Also, technically it was a coup. And like it or not I'm the leader of this group." Starfire told him

"As I see it you're an alien with nowhere else to go." Damian said.

"Damian stop being rude!" I yelled at him

"Everyone needs a home Damian including you and Zander." Raven told thim.

"Thank you for chiming in witch girl." Damian remarked.

"We are here to help you realize your potential." Starfire told him.

"You've been here long enough, when do you think you'll realize yours?" Damian remarked and started to walk away.

"Damian you need to show some respect." I said stopping him.

He grabbed me and then kicked me to the wall. Blue Beetle started and Damian both pulled out swords and started to attack eachother.

"So who's fighting me, you or the bug?" Damian asked him.

"You better hope it's me" Blue Beetle commented

They continued to fight until Damian threw batarangs at him and he hit the wall.

"That's the difference between you and me, you wear a weapon. I am a weapon." Damian said to him. We then saw the beetle charge up a blast and I pushed Damian out of the way and got hit with it instead.

"Zander!" Damian yelled

Damian's P.O.V

I watched Zander get hit by the blast square in the face and go flying backwards. So we ran over to him and Starfire picked him up.

"I tried to stop it. Is he dead?" The blue kid asked

"He's alive but just barely." Starfire said and I just stared at Zander

"This is going to be an akward call to Batman." The green boy said.

"Everyone get back" The witch girl said and we all stood back

"By the powers of Azarath I beseech you Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos." she said healing Zander.

"We need to get her back to her room. Garfield?" She said and the green boy turned into a gorilla.

Zander's P.O.V

"What happened?" I asked

"Raven healed you. We have to tend to her." Starfire said and they left. Leaving just me and Damian.

"Zander, never do that for me again alright." He told me and hugged me.

"I promise Dami" I said hugging him back we then went back to our rooms.

I was training in my room with my kunais when I accidently threw one into the wall.

"That's very dangerous, you could poke someones eye out with that, didn't your mom ever teach you to not play with knives." Garfield said yelling at me.

"Sorry Gar, it slipped out of my hand, and are we still on for you teaching me how to play video games in a little bit?" I said to him.

"Oh, sorry for yelling at you dude, and ya come on over to my room I'll show you how to play smash bros and Mario kart. I think you'll like them." He told me and I pulled my knife out of the wall and put it away, I saw Damian outside of my window with Raven and decided to just leave them and go over to Gar's room, and lets just say I actually did like playing video games I have got to ask dad to get me a gaming console.

"Dude you really gotta ask bats to get you a game console to play you suck at all of these games." Gar said as we played Smash Bros.

"Well I was never allowed to have one growing up, and I was busy being Sparrow when me and Damian started to live with dad to have any fun." I told him.

"So where did you grow up exactly?" Gar asked me

"In the league of assassians, me and Damian are the grandsons of Ra's Al Ghul." I told him and he stared at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"Nothing I just see where Damian gets it from now but you, you seem different like you're trying to figure out who you are." Gar said to me and honestly he's right I've always just seen myself as Zander Wayne grandson of the Demon Head but that's not the real me.

"I am trying to figure out who I am, but I have a little ways to go until I do." I told him and we both turned our heads to stare at each other.

"Well I think I figured out who you are. You're Zander Wayne one of the smartest, bravest, and kindest people I know. You stick up for yourself but also for others and I believe you to be your own hero not just one of Batman's sidekicks." He told me and I looked at him.

"Well I think that you are one of the most fun, comedic, and cooliest people I know, plus you have an awesome power, and you're also great at teaching me to play video games." I told him and we both leaned in and kissed each other. It was getting late so I headed back to my room after saying good night to Gar and jumped on my bed.

'Oh My God, me and Gar kissed I have got to tell Dad and Dick that I had my first kiss, I'll wait until tomorrow to tired to do it now' I thought to myself and went to sleep soon after.

They had their first kiss. Do you think Bruce, Damian, and Dick will be alright with Zander and Gar being a couple? Anyways I hope you enjoyed it, and I will be updating again soon. Also, I made them 15 in this movie.
