Jades trip went by pretty fast. Jade laid on her bed on an almost Tuesday afternoon. The phone rang downstairs. "Jade it's for you!". Jade got up from her bed, running downstairs to get the phone. She grabbed the phone from her mom and put it to her ear. "Hello?".
"Hey Jade!". She heard Zack's voice. "Hey Zack! How are you?".
"I'm good. You?".
"I'm doing pretty fine"
"Hey I was wondering if maybe you would want to hang out tomorrow??"
"Sure I'd love that!".
"Great! Can I pick you up at your tomorrow at 2?"
"Yeah of course"
"Ok see you then!"
"Alright bye". Jade said as she put the phone back in its place on the wall.
The next day at 2 pm
Jade sat on the couch waiting for Zack to arrive. A car horn honked. Jade jumped off to the couch and walked outside into the insanely hot summer weather. Good thing Jade wore shorts and a tank top today.
She got into the passenger seat of Zack's car. "Hey Jade"
"Hey"
"Today I was thinking we'd go to the movies and watch beetlejuice. Is that ok with you?"
"Yeah that's fine"
"Have you watched it yet?" Jade shook her head. "I think you might like it"
"Good to know!"
Zack had parked his car and they got out and walked inside the theater. It was the same theater, well really the only theater in town that Jade, Richie and Eddie went to go watch Childs play. And when Eddie found out about Jades secret relationship.
Jade and Zack got theirselves drinks and two small popcorns and walked down the hall to their door. They had passed by a poster of a movie with a title that read, "Killer Klowns From Outer Space". Jade remembered the creepy clown they saw at Neibolt house and in Bill's garage which sent her chills down her spine and an odd feeling. They walked through the door and took their seats.
After the movie, Jade and Zack walked down the street to go get some ice cream as they talked about the movie.
"That movie was pretty interesting. I liked it!"
"I told you, you would" Zack said laughing. "But yeah, that movie was pretty funny"
Someone ran towards Zack and Jade. It was Bill. "Oh Jade! I'm s-s-so glad that I r-ran into you. Something.. something is g-going on with Beverly!!!" Bill said talking really fast like Eddie does sometimes.
"Woah Bill slow down. What happened?". Bill took a deep breath before he spoke again.
"The clown.. it. He has Beverly.. It has Beverly!". Jade's eyes widened. "We have to go back to Neibolt a-and get the o-others". Bill said. Jade looked over at Zack. "Can you give us a ride Zack?" He nodded. They all walked back to get Zack's car.
"Where to?" Zack asked as everyone got into the car. Jade in the passenger seat and Bill sitting in the back. "Go to the a-arcade. We'll get r-Richie first". Zack put his foot to the gas and drove a few blocks down to the arcade.
