xxiv. Hallucinations

They noticed Stanley was gone and went down the hole which led to a little sewer. They heard Stanley scream and they all started running. They found a door and pushed it open. They walked through it and didn't see Stanley. "His flashlight" Eddie said and ran over to pick it up.

Richie, Jade, Ben and Mike gasped as to what they saw. "What the fuck is that thing?". A lady with black hair pulled into a ponytail with a black dress on had Stanley laid on the floor as she was eating his face. She noticed the kids and dug her teeth out of Stanley's skin and backed up, disappearing. The clown appeared and then disappeared just like the lady.

Everyone ran over to Stanley and crouched down over him. He had big bite marks around his covered in blood from the lady's teeth.

Stanley jumped um screaming. "No! No! No!". He screamed and backed away from his friends who were worried about him.

"You left me! You took me into Neibolt!!". He cried. "You're not my friends!".

Eddie apologized to him. "You made me go into Neibolt!" He said again. "We wouldn't do that to you Stan. We're sorry". Jade said with a hand on his shoulder.

"Bill!" Eddie yelled. Bill ran off.

The boys ran after bill and Jade stood there. She felt a hand on her shoulder and quickly turned around in fear. She saw Patrick with a smile.

"Don't be scared. It's just me!". He said laughing. "Patrick..." jade said with shaky breaths. "Come on I wanna show you something" Patrick said walking away. Jade just stood there almost in tears.

Patrick turned around and looked at Jade. "Don't be scared Jade. You're with me. You'll be fine". Patrick said as he held out her hand for her which she didn't take.

His smile faded and turned into a serious expression. He walked towards her and put his hand under her chin and lifted it up for her to look at him. He smiled again.

His face then turned extremely pale and white. His forehead grew and his hair turned orange and red line came from his eyebrows and went to the corner of his lips. He had turned into the clown.

Jade turned around about to make a run for it. The Dorothy doll jumped out at her and onto her face as she screamed. "Don't worry Jade. This will only take a minute!" The doll said.

Her mouth opened showing five sets of teeth just like in Jades dream. But this it was real life. Jade quickly grabbed the dolls body and threw her to the ground.

The dolls head went backwards and just laid on the floor. Jade took deep breaths. The doll got up and started running towards her with a backwards head. Jade started running as fast as she could and didn't stop. Water hit her ankles as she ran.

Jade ran through an open door and came to a stop. She looked behind her and there was no doll. She looked back over and saw the boys and Beverly.

"Bev!" She ran over to her as the girls gave each other a big hug. Beverly let go of Jade. "Where's bill?" She asked.
