𝕽𝖚𝖓 𝕽𝖆𝖇𝖇𝖎𝖙 𝕽𝖚𝖓 -Yellow Jackets

𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓔𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽𝓮𝓮𝓷

"Woah, what the actual fuck is going on?" Elizabeth asks as the trio made their way back to the cabin. "What did you do to her face?" Natalie asks. 
"We decided it was time to move on," Taissa says. 
Natalie scoffs and looks at Travis, then Elizabeth. "This has been a fucking day," 
"Wait, are those, Javi's?" 
Travis holds the bloodied pants close to his chest. 
"No," Lottie whispers. "Can't be," 
"Not another word," Natalie says through gritted teeth. 

"No, Javi's alive, I can feel it," 
"For fucks sakes, shut up!" Natalie charged towards the girl. "Don't you see how much damage you're doing? Why? Lottie why? What is making you fucking do this? You can't just keep making him-" 

"Shh," Shauna shushes, holding the torch. 
Elizabeth looked at Jackie's corpse, she felt the tears well in her eyes as she stared at her dead friend, her co captain. Natalie stepped back, going to take Elizabeth's hand, but hesitating. 

Despite them being in the freezing cold, Elizabeth couldn't help but melt when she looked at Natalie. She was mad at her, sure, but she knew Natalie didn't have any bad intentions. 
Elizabeth took Natalie's hand, she could see the relief flash in the girls eyes as she did.

"Jackie," Shauna began. "I'll never have another friend like you. I don't even know where I end and you begin. I'm sorry. And I love you," 
Elizabeth used her spare hand to wipe the tears that were beginning to stream down her face. 
Shauna set the torch down, the fire spreading. 
"Goodbye Javi," Travis sets the pants in between some of the wood, letting it burn along with Jackie.
Elizabeth let go of Natalie's hand, wiping her eyes as she headed inside.

Elizabeth sat in one of the bedrooms, her knees up to her chest, back against the wall as she stared blankly at the wall. 
"Hi," she turned her head, seeing Natalie. 
"Hey," 
Natalie sat beside her, passing her, her pack of smokes and a lighter. "I didn't know if you would have wanted these or not," 
"Maybe later, I'm not in the mood to kill my lungs," 

Natalie paused, unsure of what to say. 
"Uh, thank you for, going along with everything. I know it must have been hard. And I'm so fucking sorry I hit you and I was mad at you. I'm just so fucking sorry for everything," 
"Take a breath, Nat," Elizabeth says as she hears the shake in her girlfriend's voice. 

"I'm not a bad person Lizzie. I swear I'm not," 
"I know you're not," 
"And I'm not trying to do this so you feel bad for me or any of that bullshit. I just, I really feel like I messed this up. You're the best thing in my life, and I understand that you aren't ready to say it back to me and If you want to end-" 
Elizabeth interrupted the girl by kissing her, Natalie was caught off guard for a moment, but soon kissed back. 

Elizabeth pulled away. "I'm sorry, you just... wouldn't stop talking," 
Natalie looks up at her, enjoying the familiar warm, fuzzy feeling in her chest. 
"I'm not mad at you Nat, I tried, it's really hard to stay mad at you," 
Natalie playfully rolls her eyes, "Sure," 
Elizabeth takes Natalie's hand, "Natalie. I love you too," 

Natalie smiles, a blush spreading on her face as she looked down. 
"I really do, and I'm sorry that I made you doubt it. I hope you know, while I may have disagreed with the choice, I know why you did it, I admire how you were looking out for Travis. But I hope you know, I'll never not be on your side. I'll always, always have your back. I trust your judgment and I know you would never purposely hurt me ," 
Natalie looked up, "I love you," 
"And I love you too," 

Natalie grabbed Elizabeth's face, kissing her softly, Elizabeth kissed back, tangling her hands in Natalie's hair. 

The two pulled apart, resting their foreheads together smiling. 

Little did they know, their night would end with them, and everyone else eating remains of Jackie.
