𝕽𝖚𝖓 𝕽𝖆𝖇𝖇𝖎𝖙 𝕽𝖚𝖓 -Yellow Jackets

𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓣𝔀𝓮𝓷𝓽𝔂 𝓣𝔀𝓸

"What do we do Lizzie? He's barley talked to either of us since Javi's been back," 
"Can you really blame him Nat?" Elizabeth didn't miss the hurt look that flashed on Natalie's face before she quicky puts her mask of a numb look back on. 
"Look, lets just see if he'll go with us and take it from there, okay?" 
Natalie just looks down, "Hey," Elizabeth says softly. "It'll be okay," 
"I hope so," Natalie stood, Elizabeth followed, sitting with Travis at the table. 

"Uh, Lizzie and I were going to go down to the stream and check the gill net. You want to come?" 
"I'm good," he responds, getting up and leaving the table. 
Natalie looks down, staring numbly at the table as he walks away from her. 

Elizabeth frowns as Javi still doesn't talk, despite everyone's best efforts. 
"He'll be alright, he just needs time," Natalie sighs. 
"You don't think he got enough of that out there?" 
"Travis-" Elizabeth tries, only to be interrupted. 

"Will you both stop acting like such fucking saints. You planted the bloodied clothes. Just say it," 
Natalie stares at him for a minute. "I did, but only..." 
"You made me stop looking for him!" 
"I didn't think he was alive! It doesn't make any sense that he is!" 
"Maybe he wouldn't be so fucked up if we had found him sooner! So that's on you two!" 
"Lizzie had nothing to do with it! It was all me!" Natalie defends. 
"Yet she still went along with it," Travis walks past both of them, Natalie stands there, but Elizabeth follows him outside. 

"I understand you're upset-" 
"No! You don't understand! You don't get to do that! I thought you and I were turning over a new leaf or whatever, actually having peace for once. I thought we had each others backs!" 
"We were! I do have your back Travis!" 
"Then why didn't you stop her Elizabeth!?" 
"I tried Travis! I fucking tried! Believe me I did! But she did it to protect you I swear! It was all to protect you!" 
"Then why the fuck didn't you tell me!" 
"How the fuck could I!? I was protecting Natalie! Everything I do is to protect her!" 
Travis stares at her, mixed emotions on his face. 

"You have every right to be upset. No one is denying that. I understand that Javi is the most important person in there to you and you would do anything to protect him, I would do anything to protect Natalie. So, if you are going to be mean, be mean to me, Travis. Please, don't be so hard on Natalie because she was really just trying to help. She was looking out for you. Yes, I know the way she went about it was so fucked up and I'm not trying to invalidate you or any of that shit! Just please, don't take all your anger out on her. She doesn't deserve it," 

Travis just shook his head, "Leave me alone, Princess," 
Elizabeth sighed, digging her nails into her palms, before turning around to go back inside.

"I should have listened to you," Natalie says as they sat in a bedroom, breaking the silence they had been in. 
"Nat-" 
"I always do this, I always fuck things up. If I would have just fucking listened to you, for once, none of this wouldn't happen. I feel like such a fuck up," 
"Hey, don't say that," 
Natalie shakes her head, her voice beginning to shake, "It feels like everything I've been doing as gone to complete shit. Lottie could have died because of the contest I made to try to prove myself. I mean, I-" Natalie rubs her eyes, taking a deep breath. 

"Come here," 
Natalie crawled into her girlfriends lap, Elizabeth ran her fingers through Natalie's hair, gently massaging the girls scalp to soothe her. 
"You aren't fucking everything up Nat. I know you may feel that way, but you aren't. I am here for you Nat, things will get better, okay?" 
Natalie just held onto Elizabeth tighter, "I don't even know what I would do if you weren't here," 
"I love you Nat,"
"I love you too Lizzie,"

The door to the cabin burst open, making everyone jump. 
Natalie sat up a bit from where she was seated, in between Elizabeth's legs.
"I lost her!" Misty cries, slamming the door. 
"Who?" Elizabeth sits up. 
"Crystal! We were together, and then, and then we got separated in the storm, and it all happened so fast. I kept looking for her and looking for her, and I was screaming her name but-bit she like vanished," 
"We need to go look for her," 
"Oh shit! Tai and Shauna are still out there!" Van yells, running towards the door. 
Elizabeth and Natalie followed, running out the door. 

Van began screaming their names, the wind and snow punched Elizabeth in the face, she grabbed onto Natalie's arm, pulling her close as the freezing cold wrapped around them. 
"Van, what do you hear?" Lottie asks. 
"What the fuck does that have to do with anything!?" Natalie yells. 
"I hear the wind," 
"I hear my breath" 
"I hear the trees," 

"There they are!" Elizabeth yells, rushing over to help them. "Guys help! We need to get them inside!" 
The group ran towards them, helping the girls get inside. 

"Is she in labor?" Akilah asks, 
Shauna looks up before letting out a gut wrenching scream.
