𝕽𝖚𝖓 𝕽𝖆𝖇𝖇𝖎𝖙 𝕽𝖚𝖓 -Yellow Jackets

𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 𝓝𝓲𝓷𝓮𝓽𝓮𝓮𝓷

Elizabeth sat next to Natalie is disbelief. Natalie was rocking herself back and forth, trying to soothe herself. They looked at Jackie's burnt, eaten corpse, the memories of last night re playing constantly in her mind. 

"I'm going to hell, I'm actually going to burn in hell," 
"I guess I'll be joining you there," Natalie comments, "Besides, I think the fact that we're dating already guarantees us a spot there," 

They heard the door open, but they continued to blankly stare ahead of them. 
"What the fuck?" Taissa whispers from behind them. 
"Natalie, Liza, what the fuck is that?" 
Natalie got up, trying to stop Taissa, but it was too late. 
"No, no don't!" 
"No! What happened to Jackie!?" 
Elizabeth ran over to help, "It's okay," 
"Nat! Liza! What happened!? Is that Jackie!?" 
Van came running out, "Tai, Tai it's okay," 
"Something, something, something ate her," 

"Taissa! We ate her,"  

Taissa whips around, Natalie putting her arms out, trying to stop Taissa from coming closer. 
"I didn't! I wouldn't!" 
"What are you talking about?" Van snaps. "You were sitting right next to me," Taissa then ran to the side, throwing up. Elizabeth turned around, covering her mouth as Taissa vomited. 
Natalie patted her girlfriends back as she looked at Van.

"I guess, no one wants breakfast," Mari comments. 
Elizabeth has to fight back a gag as the though of eating even crosses her mind. She wraps her arms around her stomach. 
"I don't think anyone's hungry," 
"We should move her," Natalie suggests, 
"Where?" Elizabeth asks, "The ground is still frozen solid," 
"I'll take her body, or her remains, whatever to the plane. And she can be buried with the others when the ground thaws. Shauna?" 
"Whatever you think," 
"Well at least if you bury her with the others it'll look like she died with the rest of them," 

Elizabeth let out a shaky breath as guilt stabbed at her stomach. 
Jackie didn't deserve to die, she really didn't. 
Her death was so avoidable. 
She should have pushed Mari off her, or done something more to get her, defended her when Shauna and everyone kicked her out. 
"That's so morbid," Elizabeth looks up at her coach. 
"So now you have morals?" Mari scoffs. 
Elizabeth didn't say anything, she didn't have the energy to fight with Mari. 

"Hey! I'm talking to you," 
Elizabeth rolls her eyes. "Yes, Mari, because unlike you and your personality, I've evolved as a person," 
"Oh you're so clever," 
"Says the one who loves to state the obvious like it's groundbreaking information," 
"Oh wow, good comeback," 
"Thank you. Maybe you can learn to make yours better that way these fights are at least a tad bit fun," 

"Okay enough you two," Taissa snaps. "You two are like children," 
"Thanks Tai, I take pride in my youth and beauty. I'm going for a smoke, come on Nat," 
Natalie follows her girlfriend out the door, smiling as she does.

"I told you I would have been fine on my own," Natalie says after Elizabeth made a comment about the cold. 
"And I told you that if I had to spend two more minutes with Mari I would have punched her in the face," 
"Why do you two hate each other so much anyway? I swear this has been going on since she got on the soccer team," 
Elizabeth huffs, "She's just mean," 
"Please, so Taissa and you're like best friends with her," 
Elizabeth rolls her eyes, "Tai's not mean, she's just determined to get what she wants," 
"Tell me the real reason," 

Elizabeth sighed, "She called you a not nice name a couple times," 
Natalie laughs, "So you hate her because she insulted me?" 
"Yeah," 
"That's-"
"Hey, you've punched a girl in the face because she called me a bitch," 
"Because you are you and I'm me,"
