Sabrina's POV:
Sadie, Maddie, Ava, and I are currently at Caleb's house getting ready for our annual Horror movie marathon. Corey and Caleb came and picked us up at 8:00. We're decorating Caleb's movie room horror themed. We decided we'd decorate it "Friday the Thirteenth" mixed with "Scream". It looks pretty cool even I am impressed. My sisters and I change into our pjs in time for Rowan, Gaten, and Chloe to arrive with the snacks and drinks.
"Okay remember if you don't like it Sadie might actually punch you guys. So guys what do you think?" I ask showing them the neatly decorated movie room
"This is pretty epic actually cooler than I thought it'd be!" Gaten says smiling
"Wow Mads your Freddy Krueger pjs are so cool!" Chloe says causing Maddie to smile
"Sades yours and Caleb's chucky couple pjs are so adorable!!" Rowan says
"Thanks Caleb picked them out I just put them on." Sadie says kissing Caleb's cheek
"Aves your ghost face pjs are so cool. Where'd you get them?" Corey asks
"I got them with Sabrina when we went to target." Ava says smiling sitting on a bean bag eating popcorn
"Sabs where did you and Corey get those Sidney and Billy pjs?" Gaten asks curiously
"We got them from party city actually." I say smiling
"What about you Gaten where'd you get yours and Rowan's jigsaw pjs from?" Sadie says laughing
"Target they were last minute finds. Don't judge." Gaten says shrugging
"I told him to get them sooner but you know Gaten. He is always last minute oriented." Rowan says rolling her eyes cuddling Gaten
"Yeah well you should have seen Ava shopping for her pjs I thought she'd never find any." Maddie says shaking her head
"Wait Chloe why don't you have any horror movie themed pjs?" Maddie asks
"I didn't have time to buy any with dance." Chloe says shrugging
"Wait where does Sophia think you both are?" Chloe asks curiously
"We may have lied and said we're sleeping at Rowan's." Ava says shrugging
"Seriously you girls have more balls than me. I think one look at serious Sophia and I'd be telling her my whole life story." Gaten says laughing
"Gaten a chipmunk has more balls than you." Caleb says making Sadie laugh and nod her head from his arms
"Sorry Gaten I'm on Caleb's side on this one." Corey says high-fiving Caleb
"Okay guys keep picking on Gaten and his small ego will be dead." Sabrina says laughing
"Wow you too Sab." Gaten says shaking his head disapprovingly
"Don't worry Gaten I'll help you get them back tonight." Ava says whispering to him making Gaten smile
I get up and go to use the bathroom. Once I finish I sit back down as we start the "Friday the Thirteenth" I can't help but smile. I grab a snack and cuddle into Corey. I let out a sign of content. This is the family time I need tonight.
Maddie's POV:
As I'm watching the movie I look over to Chloe. She looks so peaceful. I can't help but smile as she cuddles into me sharing the blanket. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I smile as she turns hiding into me as it gets to a scary part. I reach for some popcorn sharing it with her as she smiles.
"I'm really glad your mom let you come tonight." I smile
"You know she's happy anytime we hang out." Chloe says smiling
"Did you tell her about us?" I ask curiously
"Yeah I told her. Although what she told me was she knew it was a matter of time." Chloe says rolling her eyes
"I'm glad your mom is okay with us dating." I say smiling
"Me too." Chloe says smiling
"What are you gonna do about Sophia?" She asks me once we're halfway through the movie
"What do you mean?" I ask confused
"Like how long are you guys gonna be mad before you give her a chance?" Chloe finishes saying
"I don't know. What she did isn't easily forgivable. At the same time it'd be nice to have a mom." I say truthfully as she nods
"I know I just hope she gives you guys all the time you need." Chloe says hopefully
"Yeah but enough about her tonight isn't about that. Tonight is about having fun." I say smiling
Chloe nods as she returns her attention to the tv. I can't help questioning how long do I get to bed mad at Sophia? I am distracted that I don't even notice the end credits of the movie start to play. I can't help but feel confused. What is gonna happen in a year from now with Sophia? Is she gonna keep us that long? I am interrupted from my thoughts when I see Sabrina put the next movie in. This is gonna be a long night.
