"Honestly Amelia, I have no freaking clue what her issue was but she was a real asshole once we were alone. Even more so than what she said about the screening callers when they first got here." Carina says in a bemused / annoyed tone as she and Amelia finish up going through the show plans for tomorrow in their office.
Amelia frowns. "And you're SURE you don't know her from somewhere? Like you didn't sleep with her and then not call her or something?" She sniggers knowing her friend has a bit of a habit of crushing people's hearts when they realise she isn't interested in long term... well anything.
Carina scoffs. "PLEASE. I would remember if I slept with her, I swear I have never met her." She says resolutely.
Amelia smirks. "And why exactly are you so sure you would remember her, huh? Is it because she is FINEEEEE?"
"NO. She is an ass." Carina says. "I would remember because I know who I have slept with thank you very much." Carina huffs, standing to pull her coat on. "Anyway I am done for the day. I have a good bottle of Chianti and a warm bath waiting." She says.
Amelia laughs. "Ok that does sound good. Almost as good as having that fine Detective share the bath with you..." She wiggles her eyebrows as Carina rolls her eyes.
"I would rather drown." She huffs, walking away. "Goodnight Amelia." She throws over her shoulder.
Amelia laughs, waving her friend off. "Goodnight... dream of Detective hottie for me!" Carina ignores her completely after that, shaking her head as she makes her way through the door.
As Carina exits the building there are a few reporters and paparazzi hanging about. "Carina, what can you tell us about the killer?" "What is your professional opinion as a Dr.?" "Carina can you comment - anything?" "How does it feel to talk to a serial killer?" Come the shouts of the reporters along with flashes of Cameras in her face.
"NO COMMENT." She states pushing past the reporters and paparazzi as quickly as she can and making her way down the street pulling her coat up around her as she hurries down the sidewalk.

Across the street from the Station 19 building a lone figure stands shrouded in the darkness of the night, with the bushes for cover. He watches as the doors open and Carina steps out into the cool night air, battling her way through the reporters.
She pulls her coat tighter around her to ward off the chill as she makes her way down the street, the figure steps out from the shadows taking slow measured steps in the same direction.
As Carina walks down the street enjoying the anonymity that the dark brings she pulls her phone out sending a quick text to check in with her brother who she feels like she hasn't seen for too long, remaining completely unaware of the hooded figure making each turn she does, and striding down the same sidewalk her own feet have covered mere seconds earlier.
Carina comes to a stop in front of a high rise apartment building, as the figure retreats into the shadows of the nearby trees watching patiently as Carina greets the doorman to her building before going inside.
The hooded figure moves slightly to see into the reception area as she makes her way to the elevator - noting from the display above the doors that after she steps in the count stops at 5. Telling him that's what floor she lives on.
The figure smirks. "I'll see you real soon Carina." He mutters darkly, turning and walking away from the building.

Carina walks into her apartment, quickly dumping her coat and bag, and kicking off her shoes in the hallway, before moving over to a record player in the corner of the living room. She flicks the switch humming at the sound of the crackle as the vintage device comes to life.
