"Ok, so now what?" Maya says as Andy and the FBI Agents return to the room.

"Well, we have some more enquiries to make to tie up the San Francisco cases which we will get on with but as far as I am concerned we have him bang to rights for all of it." Agent Yang says.

"Arraignment will be in the next 72 hours." Captain Ross tells them as she comes into the room. "Thank you for your help Agents." She says extending her hand to Yang and then Torres in turn. "Detectives." She turns to Andy and Maya. "I need you to go through all the evidence we have, make sure what we have is TIGHT. I know we have the physical evidence and are awaiting full processing of the evidence from the scene but we need to have our ducks in a row." She tells them.

"Yes Captain." Maya says as Andy nods in agreement.

"Bishop and I can wrap up with the Agents and then go and see where we are with the evidence from the scene." Andy says, Ross nods in agreement.

"Great. Agents, thank you again." She says before leaving the room.

An hour later having set up with the FBI agents and exchanged contact details along with a promise to update each other in the coming days the Agents were gone, and Andy and Maya were left to go though the evidence items.

"We need to make sure this is water tight, I want to make sure he goes down for every single one of his victims. No missed steps." Maya says as they walk through the evidence items.

"Agreed." Andy says with conviction.

"Where are we with all the physical evidence from the scene?" Maya asks.

"All of the items collected are being processed for physical evidence, prints, DNA, all of it. Although there were a couple of items of note - there were 2 knives in particular that Vic suggested could very likely be the murder weapon on first look. Again those are being processed." Andy says.

"Murder weapon would be awesome! That is irrefutable evidence if we can tie it to all murders. That's the smoking gun. No bullshit argument a fancy lawyer can throw at us. Assuming he bothers to hire one for the trial." Maya says.

"Exactly. But we have the print too from the car - the partial. Now we have confirmation that it's his, we have him." Andy says.

"The more shit we have on him the better, you ask me." Maya agrees.

Maya parks at the hospital and makes her way to the entrance, frowning as she sees a number of paparazzi waiting by the doors. She steels herself and strides past them, ignoring the few who shout out at her for comment on Carina's condition.

"NO COMMENT." She huffs out when a few of them block her path to the door, shoving them out of the way, making her way into the building. She makes a mental note to call dispatch to ask for officers to be stationed outside of Carina's room as she leaves in case any of the paps get any ideas.

"Hey..." Maya says quietly as she opens the hospital room door, seeing Carina asleep in the bed and Andrew sitting next to her flipping through a magazine.

Andrew turns to look at her, a small frown settling over his features. "Why are you here?" He says bluntly, surprising Maya.

"Um. I just... I wanted to check in on her." She says, suddenly feeling awkward.

He shakes his head, standing before walking towards her. "No, you did that before, I know there is something between you two. She told me what's been going on." He says with a knowing tone. "And honestly, now that I think about it I gotta wonder... Maybe if you had been more concerned with doing your job and keeping my sister safe, instead of making heart eyes at her, this would never have happened!"He whispers out harshly, trying to be careful not to wake Carina.
