Later that evening, Andy walks into the safe house as Maya looks up from the couch putting a finger to her lips indicating to a sleeping Carina curled up with her head in Maya's lap as she strokes her hair in an intimate gesture.

Andy raises an eyebrow. "I hope no one else has seen you like this." She whispers.

Maya rolls her eyes. "Of course not. You called me so I knew it was you coming in, else I would have moved her when I heard the walkie confirming someone was at the door." Maya whispers back as she carefully manoeuvres Carina's head and slides out from under her replacing her lap with pillows.

She nods her head to the kitchenette as Andy walks away from the sleeping woman with Maya. "How is she doing?" Andy asks.

"She's holding up. I think maybe it will be worse when she wakes up, she was still super drowsy from whatever he used to knock her out when I got back here, so I think that's kept her fairly docile about the whole thing." Maya says.

Andy nods. "How are you?" She asks.

Maya frowns. "Me? I'm fine, why wouldn't I be? Nothing happened to me..." She says. Andy says nothing but just fixes her with a look as Maya sighs. "Fine, I was scared out of my mind, ok. I... I know I can't be with her. I know that, but I can't help how I feel, Andy. I... I think..." She trails off looking over to make sure Carina is still asleep.

She turns back to Andy, lowering her voice more. "I think I'm in love with her." She says.

Andy's face softens. "I know."

Maya looks surprised. "You know? How?" She asks.

Andy smiles. "It's written all over your face when you look at her. This isn't forever Maya. When all of this is over, when James Klein is behind bars, then you guys can do whatever you want. If you wanna be together there will be nothing stopping you." She says.

Maya smiles. "Hopefully... So, tell me how did the calls get on, this afternoon?" She asks, referencing the calls to the training company and the judge.

Andy nods with a small smile, "Pretty good actually. Training company were super helpful, they do record the sessions, they are happy to provide a copy but due to privacy laws we need to obtain a warrant for that too."

"Ok - so we need 2 warrants... Did you get hold of the judge?" She asks.

Andy smiles. "Yep, no issue, just waiting for them to send over the paperwork first thing tomorrow, so we should have the footage and the training video in the morning all being well. I have techs on standby to drop everything and work on this straight away." She says.

Maya nods. "Ok good." She takes a moment before she says. "I think we need to tell Carina what we know. Not everything, but that we have a suspect. That way if there are any more attempts and she at least knows what he looks like she can be more aware..." She says.

Andy looks at her, unsure. "Are you really sure that's a good idea?"

Maya shrugs. "I think regardless, we need to do it, given how close he has gotten twice, she needs to know what he looks like, to be able to know to raise the alarm. Not to be caught unaware and off guard." She says.

Andy nods. "Sure I get that but, also emotionally? Knowing who he is, does it make it more real? More terrifying? Does it cause her more distress..."

Maya sighs, her shoulders sagging. "Maybe, but I still think it's the right move." She says with conviction.

Andy nods. "Ok then."

Maya nods as if that is the end of that. "Any word from the tox screen? Do we know what he doped Carina with yet? Or how he got into her place" She asks.
