Quand tu voudras

Embrasse-moi

Quand tu voudras

It feels weird.

I just met him today, I just figured out his name like five minutes ago, and now I'm sitting right next to him in the corner of while he recommends me books and rants about how much he hates Colleen Hoover, whoever that is.

I don't know why, because when other people speak I barely even notice they do. But I listen to him and what he's saying. And even though I don't really understand what he's saying, I don't mind replying to what he says.

Usually I don't even listen, but right now I'm an active listener and a participant in the conversation. My vocabulary is expanding just by talking to him, and he doesn't at all look the way he talks.

"Do you have a phone?" He asked. "...Most 15 year old kids do, but to answer your question yes." I replied.

He laughed at that. "Well, if you ever need any help studying or need books, just so you know where to find me," He took one of the disposable bookmarks from the container on the space next to him and wrote his number on it.

"I've gotta head back to the shop, I've got a later shift today." Logan hopped down and got his stuff together.

"...Where's your umbrella?" I asked. He just replied with a simple, "hm?"

"Like, in between the bus and the building? It's raining? Do you see where I'm going with this?"

Logan chuckled. "I don't ride the bus back, I walk."

I scoffed. "Without an umbrella? How far is the walk?"

He raised an eyebrow but answered the question. "Just 3/4 of a mile, maybe?"

My jaw dropped and he laughed at my surprised expression. "I'm gonna get going now, thanks for talking!" He walked away, just like that. Everything happened so fast. I had genuine fun for once in my life, and now it's over.

I walked back down the stairs and checked out my books, then got on the bus to go home. In between the library's parking lot and the bus, my shoes got incredibly wet- I couldn't believe it was raining that hard outside. Before getting on I looked at the card in my hands. 'Logan ☺️- ***-***-****'. I squeezed it in my hand, crumbling it in irritation. He was just trying to take advantage of me.

I took one last look at it before opening my palm and letting the wind carry it away. I tried to climb onto the bus without thinking much of it, and sat in a seat in the back, staring out the window. He was just trying to take advantage of you. He was just trying to take advantage of you. He was just trying to take advantage of you. He was just trying to take advantage of you.

He was just trying to take advantage of you.

...

I climbed out of the shower eventually and pulled on a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt, as well as putting my air pods in and turning on some music.

I climb onto my bunk and lay down closing my eyes. I wasn't resting, just listening and focusing on the music. That is, until Taylor texts me telling me mom ordered food. With a groan I sit up and put my air buds back in the case, then climb off my bunk.

"Can't get five minutes of damn peace-" I begin to grumble before stopping at my doorway. Not only Taylor stares back at me from on top of the counter, but the psycho boy is sitting at the bar and the ginger girl is sitting on the counter as well next to Taylor.

Taylor's giving me the 'Don't embarrass me and be nice' face. I ramble a string of random words and roll my eyes before walking in.

"Where's mom." I ask bluntly while putting a slice of pizza on a plate. Ginger girl and I exchange glances for a couple seconds before I go and sit down at the bar next to the psycho boy, scooting my chair to add some distance.

"Dunno, just texted me she ordered pizza," Taylor replied, hopping off the counter.

"I know you didn't pay attention during introductions, you were sleeping against your desk. So," She pointed to the psycho.

"That's Aiden, Aiden Clark," Then she points to the ginger girl who gives me a glare which I shoot right back at her.

"And this is Ashlyn, Ashlyn Banner." Taylor pridefully points to her. She has a lot of friends, I don't know why she's so proud of herself for befriending Ashlyn.

I glance at both of them before finishing my food and giving them a sarcastic smile, then throwing my plate away and marching back to my room.

I noticed my phone had gotten a notification and looked to see a message from a group chat called 'Savanna project'.

Aiden's in it, the dude that's always with him is in it who I'm guessing based on his contact is named Ben, Taylor and Ashlyn are in it, and one other contact.

Logan.
