WARNING: THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS MENTION OF SH SCARS

"You can just set your stuff down here and head to Logan's room. If you go upstairs and to the door on the left, you should be there. Logan should be finishing up in the shop anytime now."

"Thank you, Mrs. Fields." I replied before taking off my shoes and setting them on the rack. I waved to her, then headed upstairs.

As I stepped in there was a very noticeable difference between my room and his. His ceiling lights were off but the room was dimly lit with led lights hanging from the curtains and fake vines lined the walls. Instead of just one pillow, there was a bunch covering the top half of the bed as well as plushes.

I didn't really know where to sit so I slid down on the floor against the bed and went on my phone.

Logan
9:39 PM

Sorry I'm not up there, I'll be done in a sec!! :3

It's weird. He types the same way Taylor does. With that stupid little emoji at the end. I guess it isn't that bad.

I jumped a little as the door flung open and he smiled at me.

"There's a bed you can sit on, you know." He said with a chuckle.

...

It's a lot easier to talk to Logan than other people. He's just so agreeable, if that makes sense. If I talk to Aiden,- well I don't want to talk to Aiden. Ashlyn just glares at me all the time, Ben doesn't even talk, and Taylor is just too much sometimes.

But not Logan. He's nice, like, always smiling, and he doesn't scream like Taylor and Aiden when he talks.

After a while of talking he was describing to me why he didn't like Colleen Hoover when I noticed something under his sleeve. I couldn't tell what it was.

I guess he caught me staring because he followed my eyes to where I was staring and looked there as well before lifting his sleeve.

I'd heard about people doing it before but I'd never actually seen it before. I began to reach an arm out but stopped myself and looked up at him. He nodded, somehow still holding that smile, and I gently put my hand under his arm.

I gently rubbed my thumb over the scars as Logan just watched silently.

"...How long has it been?..." I whispered as I continued to glide my fingers over the scars.

"A year or two." He replies, still smiling. I don't get why he's always smiling.

My phone goes off and I check to see Taylor texted me.

Mom and I are hear 2 pick u up, come out quick :3

I looked up at Logan, and he just kept smiling at me. I knew he saw the text, so I took one last look at his smile, it was genuine. I stood up and waved then walked out. On the way out I waved to Mrs. Fields as well and grabbed my stuff and shoes before walking out the door and to the car.
