Logan was sick last week, and I don't even know if he's better this week.
His grandparents are still away but texted us he'd tase us if we try to come check on him. I laughed and replied 'no you wouldn't' but I didn't go to test that.
But he hasn't texted us at all. It's winter break and we've texted the group chat alot but he hasn't said anything.
We've group called, made plans, and a lot of other stuff.
Whenever we text to make plans, he doesn't even reply with a 'I can't go', or 'I'm busy that day', he just doesn't reply at all. I haven't spoken to anyone about it, but I hope he's okay.
...
"Are you gonna have Logan over during break?" Mom spoke, keeping her eyes forward but looking at me through the car mirror.
"What?"
"Taylor's having a sleepover at home with her boyfriend and Aiden tomo-" Mom said.
"What." I grumbled.
"Did I say something wrong?"
"Her boyfriend?"
"Oh, that? That Ben kid? I don't know, they seem pretty close, I just guessed they were dating. But you didn't answer me, are you having Logan over?"
I cross my arms in sink into my seat.
"Dunno." I say.
"How is he anyways?"
"Dunno."
"You don't talk anymore?"
"Not really."
"Are you still friends?"
I'm silent for a moment. I opened my mouth to speak but couldn't get an answer out. So I just shrug.
I take out my phone and text him

By the time were home I check for a reply again.
