Reynold's POV:

The moonlight casted an eerie glow throughout the woods, the trees' shadows dancing around in the wind. I moved silently across the forest, my sense heightened by the intoxicating scent of her blood. I found her grasping to a tree, her eyes wide open, filled with fear as she backed away from me, staying behind the tree.

"Audrey." I murmured, my voice a velvet whisper, but my eyes gleamed with a predatory hunger.

"Stay away from me, Reynold. You're a monster." She pleaded, her voice trembling. Her heartbeat was a frantic drum, echoing in my ears, making my thirst unbearable.

"I can't." I replied, my voice tinged with regret but driven by an overwhelming need. I advanced slowly, each step deliberate, my gaze locked on her.

Audrey bolted from the tree, her feet barely touching the ground as she fled through the dark forest, moving throughout the trees. I pursued her with supernatural speed, a dark figure moving like a shadow. She glanced back, her heart pounding, knowing escape was futile.

She dashed into an empty street, her breath ragged, searching for any sign of other people. I appeared under a street light, the cast of light made me appear as a shadow. I moved toward her, my eyes fixed on the pulse in her neck, the sound of her fear like a siren's call.

"Please, Reynold, don't do this." She whispered, tears streaming down her face.

My resolve faltered for a moment, but the primal urge was too powerful. In a swift, predatory motion, I pinned her against a tree, my fangs bared and I felt the veins under my eyes pronounce.

Audrey struggled, her cries a mix of terror and desperation. My fangs sank into her neck, piercing her delicate skin. She gasped, a strangled cry escaped her lips as I drank deeply, her warm blood fueling my dark hunger.

I could feel her weakening, her struggles growing fainter. The world around seemed to spin, the shadows deepening as I drained her life force, lost in the intoxicating ecstasy of her blood.

I pulled away, blood dripping from my lips, and stared in horror at Audrey's lifeless form crumpled on the dirt. I stumbled back, my chest heaving with ragged breaths.

"No... Audrey." I whispered, reaching out with trembling hands. I fell to my knees beside her, cradling her body against my chest. The taste of her blood, which moments ago had been ecstasy, now turned to ash in my mouth.

Regret and anguish twisted my features. "What have I done?" I muttered, my voice breaking.

Suddenly, I saw a light appear above us. The light seemed to grow larger and larger until it swallowed us whole.

"Wakey! Wakey! Sleepy head!" Someone jumped on top of me.

I groaned and sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "What the hell?" I mumbled.

Looking around, I saw Ambrose staring at me while sitting on my bed with a weird look on his face.

"Oh good! You're awake!" A voice came from the hallway. A few seconds later, Killian popped in with a bottle of scotch in his hand.

"Mmm breakfast." I said and snatched the bottle from his hand. Taking a big swig, I sighed and walked into my closet.

"You look like shit." A rougher voice, Jago, said.

"Thanks. I feel like it too." I walked back into the room now dressed.

"Bad dream?"

I let out an airy chuckle. "You have no idea..."

"Alright." Killian said and put an arm over my shoulder. "Let's go downstairs. You still have that thing you need to discuss."

"What thing?" I said as we all walked out of my room.
