The next morning, when it was dawn and quiet early for everyone to wake up, me and Vrushali set for Anga.
I knew that the people wouldn't believe me if I went straight and told them they were free so I directly set for Jarasandh's kingdom.
"Arya, he's a very powerful man. Are you sure you will be able to fight him?" Vrushali asked worriedly.
"Don't you trust me?" I asked softly.
She looked hesitant and I could see the fear in her eyes. I couldn't blame her. Jarasandh was not an ordinary man.
We reached the kingdom of Magadh. I looked at the soldier.
"Call Maharaj Jarasandh. Tell him I challenge him to a duel", I said coldly. My hands twitched to destroy that beast for torturing Anga's innocent people.
I looked when he came. Vrushali held my hand. I looked to see she was scared.
Jarasandh had a lot of prowess. Anyone could say just by seeing him.
I didn't get any time to have words because he was so angry that someone challenged him that he directly attacked me.
I stopped him and kept battling him. At first it was hard for me but I used my full force and made him move back.
The duel went for minutes.
I could see he was getting frustrated that he couldn't defeat me.
I smirked.
When his eyes shifted on Vrushali. My smile fell. Something sinister came in his eyes with that gross feeling every man like him had seeing a girl.
That was it!
I growled loudly and threw him on ground. I sat on him and started repeatedly punching him as he tried to defend.
I choked him as he kept struggling. My anger knew no bounds.
"Arya p-please stop", Vrushali sobbed scared seeing the duel.
"You are the wife of a warrior", I replied calmly in return.
When he was almost pale, I got up and kicked him. He yelled in pain as I kept glaring at him.
"You know that overconfidence leads to our doom, don't you?" I smirked.
"You are Jarasandh right", I said. My hand holding his face tightly making it take an o shape.
"Then let's do one thing, break you into half", I said.
His eyes widened in fear.
Nobody knew how to kill him except me and Krishna. Of course he was scared.
"No. I am sorry Angraj. Please don't kill me", he begged.
I glared at him.
He kept begging and I thought to leave him alive and make him a prisoner.
"You can have my daughters if you want", he said and my eyes darkened.
I gritted my teeth and stomped my leg on his face as his face went into soil and he struggled for breaths again hitting on my leg but I kept it there.
I finally took him out when he was on verge of dying.
I will make him beg death.
"I will give you such a brutal death that even your upcoming generations will remember it", I promised and smirked at his terrified eyes.
I started throwing, dragging and beating him mercilessly as he kept shouting.
I had not even an inch of mercy on him.
Finally I got up from a lifeless state of it and held his legs as I breath heavily in anger.
I heard distance footsteps of cries and anklets.
"Please I am sorry Angraj--" a scary sound of tearing began as I started slowly splitting him in half as he cried in pain.
I intentionally kept it slow.
"Leave pitashree Angraj", I felt that someone or more than one fell at my feet and begged and cried.
But the damage was already done.
I teared Jarasandh in half as I got rid of that skin contact and walked forward. My hands, legs bloodied, my Angavastram red and blood splashes on my face.
I threw the halfs in different directions to prevent him from getting joined back and he finally died.
I looked back and saw five girls who were supposedly his daughters who stared traumatised at that scene and started crying.
My heart pained seeing that sight.
I walked closer as Vrushali rushed to me and hugged me. I hugged her back sighing.
When I suddenly saw them getting up with knives in their hands to attack me.
I pulled Vrushali behind me as I handled the attacks.
I made them drop the knives as they stared at me scared. My hands were all bloodied and blood drops were falling from it.
The girls fell on the ground on their knees as they hugged each other and helplessly cried.
I walked forward to console them noticing Vrushali tearing a piece of her cloth to treat my injured hand.
I forwarded my hand and tried to console them debating if I should keep even my hands on their hair but my eyes widened noticing that the blood drops fell down.
And due to me moving my hand, it fell on the hairlines of all five considering they kept hugging each other.
Everyone gasped.
Vrushali was too worried for me to notice it and didn't see my pale face.
She tied that cloth around my finger.
I looked at her and seeing the look on my face she looked forward and she stumbled seeing the scene in front.
I held her.
The girls were sitting numbly. They held on their hairs and looked at me.
"They are your wives now Angraj", an older woman declared and I couldn't do anything.
Their dignity was at stake.
Vrushali looked heartbroken and tried to move when I held her.
Not only was I the king of Anga but I was the king of Magadh as well.
And I remarried, even if I didn't want it.
"I accept this marriage. Henceforth, the princesses are the queens of Anga", I declared.
And someone came with the aarti thal and crown.
I didn't got time to give that news to Duryodhan.
I was crowned the king that instant.
