I was one of the most powerful kings now because I killed Jarasandh and became the king of Magadh as well.

Though I hadn't expected that I would get thousands of marriage invitations in just a day.

"You can't believe it. Many of them have sent invitations", Duryodhan said.

"As if I am not a charioteer's son now. Hypocrites", I rolled my eyes.

I had just tonight's time to talk to my other four wives before we had to leave for a kingdom in Punjab, Paurava Rashtra where the first defender of India was born.

Their ancestors and the king and queen of today's date were wanting their daughter to marry Arjun.

I sighed.

"You killed Jarasandh. What else do you expect? Everyone would want to make alliance with you", Duryodhan laughed.

I scoffed hearing it. Power hungry people. Just because I did something unbelievable, they want my attention.

They aren't getting any.

"Why don't you see the letters?" Duryodhan suggested.

Even though I wasn't interested but seeing his pleading look, I sighed and sat beside him.

I looked amused at the piles of letters.

They were so much that even after multiple attempts, one or two were falling.

"I want these in my room", I smirked. "It will help me remember how they are dying for my attention now".

Duryodhan laughed and ordered the soldiers for the same.

He went for looking in court matters as per my advice and I was happy about it.

I was walking in the hall when I saw Arjun roaming to and fro flustered.

"You are all red", I said simply.

He widened his eyes. "Oh!" He said and looked down.

"What happened?" I asked in concern.

"Well--marriage", he stuttered.

I raised an eyebrow. "What about it?" I couldn't help my amusement.

"Well. I have just returned from Gurukul. How will I handle a marriage?" Arjun muttered.

I looked amused at him and started chuckling.

"You do realise... She won't eat you?" I asked him snickering. He got flustered.

"Relax Arjun", I smiled at my brother. "I know Marriage is a big responsibility but don't let it make you worry so much. Just be happy that you are getting a friend for life".

Arjun nodded slowly. "And chill out a bit. If you aren't able to handle now, after marriage so many big responsibilities, how will you handle them?" I asked.

"Well...I don't know", he said sheepishly.

He looked cute. Baby boy.

What...?! People don't forget he's my little brother. I can adore him. I will adore him.

"Will meet you later", I ruffled his hair and laughing at his expressions, I went towards my room.

I chuckled as I read so many letters.

I was so amused at the way they had addressed me like I was Narayan myself when they won't even look at me days back.

Gosh! Power thirsty people.

Though my laughter stopped when one letter caught my eyes.

Pranipat Angraj

I know that after you won Magadh, you will receive thousands of letters from kingdoms much better than mine.

And you won't have any reason beneficial to you that makes you agree for accepting my love because like everyone else, you will think even I want to marry you just for the sake of your prowess.

But believe me when I say it and I say it by my heart, I had fallen in love with you the day I heard your name and your battle with Rajkumar Arjun. I felt I was stupid to think of it as love as love is something that binds souls.

But when I thought about it, even Rajkumari Rukmini had loved Dwarakadish the same way and if that was love, why couldn't be my feelings called love? I made outlines and the more I heard about you, I sketched and kept doing it till I made your portrait.

And when it was over, I had it confirmed because in the shop, they were selling paintings and it had one of yours as well and then and there I knew it was love. You are the one I had always dreamt about. I didn't require anything but my heart and your tales to draw you.

(There were tears smudges afterwards which I caressed gently by my hands, feeling something different inside me)

Angraj my heart pains accepting the fact that you can never be my husband because my marriage has been set with someone else and I can't risk my kingdom for my own reasons.

Moreover, my parents who have utterly disappointed me won't let go of your roots but trust me I never cared about your caste and never would. For me you are the person who stands for right, fights for right and believes in true dharma unlike the people nowadays who do wrong in the perception of dharma they have.

For personal reasons and for the sake of accepting my fate, I can't reveal my name to you but I just wanted this burden to lighten. I wanted to get one chance to tell you how much I love you and here I grabbed it.

I may see you often but you won't know me. I may want to ask questions but I won't because you aren't looking for answers because you don't love me and maybe you never would because I will always remain that unknown admirer.

Don't worry Angraj, I won't ever come at your door demanding for the place that is not meant for me. But just my request is, please never forget that there does exist a princess, a girl from the royal clan who is free from social evils and who loves a charioteer's son by all her heart and soul and will keep loving you understanding you as her God. That will be enough for this unlucky soul and ardent devotee of yours who can't have you though she always desires for it. But sadly it's not possible.

Please remember me as your well wisher and the one who has made you her world, just that would be enough... (Tears were smudged on these words as they became unclear with the amount of water on it and the page ruined being soaked in those precious pearl like tears as my own eyes filled touching those words on the page) Just that would be enough.

I closed my eyes keeping that letter close to my heart. Those words touched my soul.

I used my powers and with my Divya drishti, got to know who she was as the Earth beneath my feet slipped.
