"Hello, Calvin, good morning to you as well. Of course, you're welcome." I greeted him back, taking a seat on the chair that is facing him.

"Do you want something to eat or drink? It would be my treat." Calvin asked me, placing his phone inside one of the pockets of his black jean jacket and took his wallet from the other pocket.

"Umm yes, please I would like to have a double chocolaty chip creme Frappuccino and a bacon and sausage egg wrap." I answered his question by focusing my eyes on the wall behind him so I couldn't see his eyes.

"Okay, got it, I will be right back, Aubree." His voice reached my ears before I heard his footsteps away from the table heading in the direction of the line.

I let out a deep breath that I didn't know that I was holding in. I reached into my purse, retrieved my phone to distract myself until the return of Calvin. I unlocked my phone, quickly clicking on the messaging app to text my best friend.

Me: Pey, I am here and I am quite nervous.

I went ahead to check the rest of my unread texts while I waited for my best friend to text me back. The first unread text message was from my mother.

Mom: Honey, here is the list that you asked me for yesterday.*attachment down below*

Me: Thank you so much, see you soon!

As I hit send to my mother's text, Peyton's text message came through. I clicked out of my mother's text thread and returned to my best friend's thread.

Bestie Pey💗: Bree it's perfectly normal for you to be nervous. But remember there is a possibility that you might get some closure today. You can leave anytime if it gets too hard for you to be there with him.

Me: You're right, Pey, I will try to give you updates.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Calvin heading back to the table, holding a drink tray and two white bags. Instead of putting my phone back on my purse, I left my phone face down on the table.

"Aubree here is your drink and the food that you requested." Calvin said, handing me my drink and the bag containing my food then he sat down back on the chair in front of me.

"Thank you, Calvin." I thanked him, taking my drink and the bag from his hands and placing them down on the table.

"Yeah, you're welcome, Aubree." Calvin said, taking a sip from his drink. "So, how has life been treating you during these past five years?"

"Life has been treating me well in the past five years. I obtained my film degree last May. I graduated from Berkeley with honors. I have an audition agent with my father's help and she is starting to look for some acting auditions so I am starting to get excited to start auditioning for some roles. " I answered his question, focusing my eyes on him instead of looking at the wall behind him. "Calvin, what about you? How was your life away from California?"

"Congrats on obtaining your film degree, your parents must be very proud of you. I am glad to hear that you are following your dream of becoming an actress. I hope that you get an audition very soon, Aubree." Calvin said, taking another sip out from his drink before setting it down on the table. "These past five years, away from California were amazing. I got the opportunity to meet new people and learn new things about music in my different classes.I got my music degree in May as well. As much as I enjoyed being in a new state, there was a part of me who missed home. After graduating, there wasn't anything that kept there, so Samuel and I parked up our things and moved back here. Samuel and I moved into the same apartment building; now we are best friends and neighbors."
