The sun sank lower in the sky as I sped through Seoul's crowded streets, my thoughts racing with the never-ending list of things to accomplish before the big day. I was on my way to pick up the customized cake topper we had purchased weeks before. The idea of our wedding tomorrow filled my heart with both excitement and nervousness.

As I approached the corner, I saw Jungkook standing outside a nice café, his familiar form immediately calming my rushing thoughts. I was going to cry out to him when I noticed he wasn't alone. A woman stood by him, and even from a distance, I could sense the warmth in their contact. My steps stopped as I recognized who it was...Mina, his ex-girlfriend.

Jungkook and Mina had ended their relationship peacefully, but seeing them together now, the day before our wedding, made my chest tighten. I watched them talk energetically, their shared laughter vibrating like an unpleasant echo. The ease with which they interacted made me feel an uneasy mix of jealously and nervousness.

I quickly turned away, intending to continue my business without informing Jungkook of my arrival. My heart raced as I hurried to the bakery. I forced myself to concentrate on the duties on hand, but the image of Jungkook and Mina together kept appearing, placing a cloud over my enthusiasm.

After picking up the cake topper and a few other essentials, I returned home. The weight of my thoughts made the usually journey seem like an eternity. I reassured myself that Jungkook loved me and that we'd be married tomorrow, but my doubts kept going.

When I eventually got at our flat, Jungkook was already there, his face glowing as he spotted me. "Hey, did you get everything?"

"Yeah, I got it all" I said, trying to sound joyful. "How about you?"

"Finished everything" he replied, embracing me into a hug. "I'm so excited for tomorrow"

"Me too" I said, speaking softer than I had intended. His hug was warm and comforting, but the earlier experience was still on my mind.

We reviewed the last-minute wedding preparations for the last part of the evening. Though I couldn't get rid of the nagging unease, Jungkook's excitement was infectious. We followed the tradition of spending the night apart prior to the wedding as it got later in the evening. With expectation and affection in his eyes, Jungkook gave me a good night kiss.

He muttered, "Tomorrow is going to be perfect"

I forced a smile and said, "I know, Goodnight Jungkook"

"Good night, Y/N. I love you"

"I love you too"

I laid in bed in a quiet room, staring at the ceiling. My fears were increased by the mental image of Jungkook and Mina together. Was he still attracted to her? Or was I just an easy replacement? These doubts tormented me and weakened my self-assurance.

The night stretched on, my mind racing and sleep avoiding me. My doubts grew harder by the minute as I tossed and twisted. Although I knew I had to talk to him about this, I didn't want a conflict caused by insecurity to destroy the happiness of our wedding day.

I lay in bed feeling the weight of the day ahead of me as the first lights of morning started to peek through the curtains. It was our wedding day, the day we had both been looking forward to. I knew I had to speak with Jungkook in order to express my worries and get some clarity. However, I also understood that today was meant to be spent enjoying our love and not allowing my worries to overwhelm it.

I took a deep breath and decided to keep my attention on the good things. I tried, even if it was difficult. I need to know what happened and I need to find a solution, therefore I will definitely speak with him in the early hours. My need for clarification was still there, hiding in the background. i knew it was irrational...Jungkook loved me, and our wedding was proof of that. However, seeing him with Mina and thinking back on their shared past made me wonder if I could ever be as good as she was.
