My Worst Nightmare

Chapter 5

Recess.....

Right at recess time, our adviser came to the room. She made us line up outside.

"Kids, ayusin niyo ang pag pila."

"Hey miss!" she called----? me?
She's looking at me. Her eyes were on me.

"Me?.." I point at my self.
She just nod and beckoned me to come to her.

"You are here in the front because you are tall."
That makes me shock. But yeah, that's true. Sa lahat ng babae ako ang pinaka matangkad.

I just nod and follow her. We're going canteen.

"Kids, upo na kayo sa gusto niyong upuan" ma'am said.

I sat there in my seat at the end. But from now on I'm not alone, because Ericka is with me. She chose to be with me because maybe she noticed that I was always alone. LONER.

"Anong inorder mo?" She asked me.

"Vegetable sandwich, yakult and water. That's all. How 'bout you?" i asked her without looking.

"Rice, 2pcs. hotdogs, yogurt, egg sandwich at syempre tubig." Sagot nya. Tumango lang ako sakanya at mag labas ng cellphone.

It took 7 minutes before it was served to our table. I started eating quietly, I know that Ericka looks at me from time to time but I just ignore it. I'm used to being quiet while eating so I don't speak. When I finished eating, I looked at Ericka, she was still eating, she was eating the egg sandwich she bought.

"Huh? Bakit?" She asked. I've been looking at her for a while now, she so cute.

"Nothing. You're so cute" I laugh at her.

"Tapos kana?" She asked.

"Yes..." I smiled.

10:27 a.m. when we finished, we finished eating before lining up again to go up. After entering the room, our next teacher followed. Science time.

"Hi everyone I'm your teacher in Science Mrs. Blah blah blah....." She just introduced herself and was a little orient.

I'm not listening, I'm too busy keeping track of time. Its almost time. Exact 12:30 when the bell ring. I saw Maevie outside, she was waiting on me. When our teacher came out, Maevie call me.

"Olivia! Tara na!" she shout.

"Wait!" I bordly said.

"Hmm...Charlotte sino 'yun?" Ericka asked me. She's pointing at Maevie using her lips.

"That's my friend, daughter of one of our maids"

"Oh, so kasabay mo siya?" she asked while wearing her pink bag.

"Exactly."

She just nodded at me and said goodbye because she said she was going home. Ito namang si Maevie basta basta nalang pumasok kala mo naman talaga.

"Bagal mo!"

I just rolled my eyes. "Why can't you wait?" I said. Irritated.

Tumawa lang sya at sumabay na sakin palabas ng room. Lagi silang una pinapalabas kaya sinusundo nya ako dito sa room.

"Olivia sino 'tong katabi ng dad mo? Medyo kahawig niya kase e." she asked, while we were walking she was on her cell phone.

"Huh? I think thats my uncle or -----? I don't know." i just realized now that i don't know my uncle ang aunties.

I don't have any idea about that picture. Mom and dad never try to introduce my relatives on me. Nah! this is so unfair.

When I got home, the maid immediately told me that mom was sending me to the third floor, to dad's office. I know that already. But I'm not sure. When I came there, I saw mom sitting on the sofa.

"How's you school sweetie?" Mom asked me.

"Its fine." I answer. Without any expression.

"So you're here." dad said.

Where do you think? Huh? Kidding.

"I want to test your strength, I want to know how far you can fight." He said. What the fuck! When I learn I will break your bones. Kidding.

"What?"

"Can't you here me?" He said. He look irritated now.

"Sorry, but why?"

"I want to test it, just to be sure. You know that I don't want weak."

Tumango lang ako sakanya, alam ko na kung san to pupunta.

"Get ready for this coming week ends." Dad said before walked away.

"Are you sure you can?" Mom asked. I know that she's worried.

"Yes mom." I said. Paalis nako ng hawakan nya ang kamay ko.

"Good luck." Her last word this day.
