Sydney sat there, speechless at the words her best friend had just admitted to her. "I'm sorry if this makes things all weird" Paige softly spoke. "Buster?" Paige said, elbowing the girl who was staring out into space. "Ya ya, I'm just really tired, I'll see you in the morning?" Sydney said getting up. "Ya of course" Paige said to the brunette who was running back to the house.

The next morning Sydney woke up and immediately texted AJ.

Meet me at Bennys Cafe in 10

Ok demanding 😒

Sydney quickly got dressed and biked to the cafe. She ordered herself and her sister coffee and anxiously waited for AJ to arrive. "Hey what's up?" AJ said as she sat down at the table Sydney picked out for them. "Oh, is that a caramel iced latte?" AJ gasped. Sydney nodded watching AJ smile. "You know me to well! Thank you!" AJ laughed as she sipped on the drink.

"Paige said she loves me" Sydney blurted out, making AJ choke on her coffee. "Well no duh, of course she does, she's your best friend" "No like she love loves me, the thing you said in the car, you were right, she's in love with me and I'm scared, nothing makes sense" Sydney anxiously played with her rings. "Well do you love love her?" AJ asked calmly, after seeing how nervous her sister was. "Ya" Sydney blurted out, without hesitation, "but I don't think I'm lesbian" Sydney admitted. She had never even thought about that kind of stuff. "You don't have to be a lesbian to like girls, Syd. Just be you. I'm proud of you no matter what" AJ told the girl.

Sydney suddenly felt a rush of emotions, she could t help the tears that streamed down her cheeks. "What's wrong hun" AJ laughed as she got up from her seat to hug the brunette. "I, I, I think I like girls" Sydney sniffled into her sisters shoulder. "That's okay silly, love is love, and I love you no matter what" AJ said, pulling away, and wiping the tears of her sister. "It's about time you realized you liked women!" AJ laughed.

"Okay okay, now what am I gonna do about Paige?" Sydney said as her sister returned to her seat. "That's up to you, but if I were you, I would go get my girl!" AJ smiled to herself. It suddenly hit Sydney, Paige was her girl, and she wasn't gonna let her go.

Sydney rushed out of the cafe, AJ not even questioning. She biked back to her second home, the fastest she had ever before. She dropped the bike in the front lawn, and sprinted to the side door. "Is Paige here?" She asked Drew who was sitting on the couch. "Uh she's at Cocos beach with Riley" Drew said, not looking up from his ipad.

Sydney nodded and ran back out the door. She biked as fast as she could again, all the way to Cocos, she searched small beach, and the ocean. No sign of Paige or Riley. She headed up to the sandbar restaurant, she spotted Riley sitting with the blonde, who had her back to Sydney.

Sydney stood in the middle of the outdoor restaurant, staring at the two. She was here, going to get her girl, but she didn't quite think about how she was gonna approach and actually 'get' her girl.
