PART 32

Paige grabbed her hand, leading her through the crowd. "Oh hey SKay! Leaving already?!" Lainey stopped her, smiling. "Ya something came up sorry Lains" Sydney made a frown face, faking her sadness. "That's a bummer, but before y'all head out, come meet my boyfriend!" She smiled. She was the sweetest, Sydney couldn't say no to her.

"COLE! Come here!" Lainey waved a guy over. Suddenly it all clicked in Sydney's head, Lainey's boyfriend who went to school in Tennessee, who was here for the weekend. That's why Cole was here, he must be Lainey's boyfriend! "Meet Sydney and Paige" Lainey introduced him to the girls. Paige was giving him a death stare as Sydney felt like she could faint.

"Oh hell nah, not this fucking bitch!" Cole yelled as he ran away. Sydney laughed to herself, he must be scared of Paige. "Sorry that's weird, I swear he's usually nicer" Lainey scratches her head. "Oh I know honey" Paige laughed. Laineys face matched her confused mind. "Lainey about your boyfriend, be careful. I will have to talk to you a different time, not here. But please be careful and safe. Trust me when I say, keep your distance and text me when you get back to your dorm." Sydney hugged the girl and walked out with Paige.

Sydney's stomach twisted in knots, it felt wrong to have left Lainey with Cole. But Paige promised her that Lainey will be alright, Sydney accepted it. She knew Cole and she knew that he used to be a great guy, maybe he changed? Either way, he wouldn't have sex with someone he has only been dating for a short time.

Paige brought the girl back to Paige's dorm. She plopped the brunette on her bed and ran out to the kitchen. She came back with some stomach medicine, crackers, and a big Gatorade, Sydney's favorite flavor. She snuggled up on the girl, covering their legs with a fluffy blanket. Sydney turned on her favorite movie, 'Hannah Montana, the movie'. The girls cuddled and snacked as they watched the movie, slowly falling asleep.

It felt good to be back in Paige's arms. Even if Paige was in her arms, it still felt good to be in her company. Sydney missed the girl, their one on one time. She easily fell asleep, Paige in her arms, keeping her warm.

A couple weeks later...

"Kisses and hugs my babies!" AJ screamed as she ran to the girls in the airport. It's officially Christmas break and Paige and Sydney had just hopped off the plane. "AJ we saw you like a month ago" Paige laughed. "Jeez am I aloud to miss my girls?!" AJ sassed. Both of the girls laughed at the older blonde. She grabbed their bags and led them to her jeep.

The snow had just fallen the night before, frost filled the air as they drove through neighborhoods. They dropped Paige off at her house then headed back home. "SYDIE!" Dylan yelled, running up to the girl. Sydney picked the boy up, lifting him through the air and hugging him tight. "Okay okay, give your mama a hug!" Sydney's mom laughed, pulling Dylan off of her.

"I missed you" Sydney's mom, Nancy said.
"SYDNEYS HOME!" Sydney's cousin, Gavin screamed as he knocked Nancy out of her arms and hugging the brunette. Sydney hugged the rest of her family, cousins, aunts, and uncles, including her golden retriever. "We waited for you to decorate the tree" Dylan said as they walked into the living room. A big green tree stood in the middle of the room, a big box sitting next to it filled with ornaments.

"Honey we're gonna decorate it later" Nancy patted his back. "Jeep run?" Kathrine, another one of Sydney's cousins asked. She dangled AJs keys, with a smirk on her face. Kathrine hopped in the drivers seat, Sydney in the passenger, and some of the older cousins in the back, Danie, Jacob, and Gavin.

"So tell us about you and Paige" Katherine laughed from the passenger seat, as she drove around neighborhoods. "Well you all know Paige, except Gavin, I told you how she kissed me senior year and all. When I transferred to UConn we made up and kinda just said that we regret the kiss and it was silly. We were friends for awhile till she kissed me. Now we're dating!" Sydney explained.
