It's around 3 in the afternoon and Sydney is currently driving Caroline to the airport. Half of the team is leaving by today for thanksgiving break and the other tomorrow. Sydney offered to drive Caroline to the airport cause they are roommates and she needed a long car ride to think.

Caroline was on aux while Sydney drove. "Can you play like some 'in the feels' music?" Sydney turned to the girl who scrolled through her music app. Caroline and Sydney had similar music taste and she knew exactly what she meant. Sydney nodded at the girl once the song came on, ceilings by Lizzy McAlpine, Caroline cranked the radio up as the two screamed along.

When they got the airport Sydney helped the girl get her suitcase out of the back. She gave the girl a squeeze and watched her walk into the busy double doors. Sydney drove back to campus, thinking about what she could put in the letter to Paige. Her and Paige both booked the same flight back home together, and their families spent thanksgiving together, so if they don't make up things are gonna be awkward.

Sydney pulled she hair up into a high pony, letting her ac blow in her face. She grabbed a piece of lined paper from her notebook and got a somewhat working pen. She sat there for a minute, staring at the paper, then words just started to flow out onto the paper.

Dear Paige,

I'm sorry. There's no other way to put it, you right, you don't deserve someone who can't even admit she's gay. You deserve someone who makes you laugh, not someone who makes you stress. You're my best friend no matter what and I will always want what's best for you. But I really want to be that person who makes you laugh, I want to be the only one who makes you laugh. I don't want to let you go cause you're my favorite person on this earth. I'm so proud of you for being yourself, I wish I could be more open like you are. You mean the freakin world to me, you're the only person I think about, every morning, every night, it's always been you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, I'm serious when I say I don't think I could live without you. With each day that goes by I find myself finding new reasons to love you more and more. I will never stop loving you, even if you hate me with all your guts, I still love you, forever. I honestly have no clue what I did to deserve you. I'm so beyond lucky and grateful that the universe crosses our paths. I remember the first day I saw you, freshman year, Mrs. Keefes homeroom, that's the day my life changed for the better. I wish you could see how much of a difference you make on me, you make my soul happy. I'm sorry for saying what I said, I don't know why I'm so scared, I keep running from the fact, that I so fucking in love with you. But Paige Madison I'm in love with you, I could scream it from the rooftops, and I'm realizing that I can't lose you, cause if I do, I lose my whole world. We will get through this together and I hope you can forgive me cause I could really use a big Rambo hug right now.
I love you to the moon and Saturn, forever and always

-Syd

Sydney folded the paper up and put it in a envelope. She hopped in her car and headed to CVS. She grabbed Paige's favorite, sour patch kids, then she printed out a photo of the two and taped it to the front of the envelope. Sydney knocked nervously on Paige's dorm door. Azzi awnsered, she told Sydney that Paige wasn't feeling well and it was probably best that Azzi gave it to her. So Sydney gave the card and candy to Azzi as she closed the door gently on her face.

Sydney walked up the stairs to her dorm, her and Paige's flight was pretty early the next morning so she decided to go to bed.

The next morning Sydney's alarm went off at 6:45, she hopped up and put her sweats on. She got herself ready then headed out the door. Azzi was driving Paige and Syd to the airport, a plan they had a couple weeks ago. Paige had her hoodie up as she sat in the back seat. Azzi was in the drivers and Sydney slid into the passenger. Azzi handed her the aux, Sydney shuffled Gracie Abram's and they rode off.
