AUTHOR POV~

Her heart raced as the car speed towards the farmhouse located on the outskirts of Seoul. Her mind was a whirlwind of worry and confusion. "What's the matter about her family." and why that stranger called her.

What had happened to her parents? Why were they at the farmhouse? Her parents didn't even informed her about going farmhouse. She couldn't understand what was happening. As soon as the car stopped infront of the big gate of their farmhouse. She jumped out and ran towards the house. She was huffing and sweating badly fear gripping her heart.

When she reached the entrance, she saw the police and the guard was also standing there. Her serene tensed eyes scanned the scene desperately for her parents until she was directed inside to her parent's room.

There she saw her parents lying on the floor lifeless with blood pooling around them. Her father had a gun in his hand and the sight made her blood run cold. She felt like her soul left her body seeing her parents lying lifeless.

"No, Mom , Dad" she screamed rushing towards them. Her mind totally went blank unable to process the sight in front of her. She tried to hold their bodies but a female police officer gently stopped her.

"Miss please be brave. You can't go there" she said softly but firmly.

"What the hell! They need me! They're my parents!"she shouted eyes red tears streaming down her face. She broke free from the officer's grip and kneeled beside her parents.

"Mom Dad look your princess is here. Please Dad I did really well in my exams. Look Dad you're proud right? Please wake up Mom - Dad Please" she cried her voice breaking.

The officers looked at her with pity. "Miss can you call someone from your family? We need to inform them."

"They're my Family" she glared shouted her voice filled with anguish. She collapsed in the cold tiled floor sobbing uncontrollably beside her parent's lifeless bodies. After a while of asking the police called Mr. Jeon Jaehyuk. He arrived as quickly as he could his face paled with shock and disbelief.

Seeing his best friend and his wife in such state tore his heart. And seeing her whom he loved like a daughter in so much pain made it even worse for him. "Mr. Jaehyuk we need to talk" said the police officer said leading him aside.

They explained all the situation, According to them. Mr. Kang had killed his wife and then himself the police officer implicated. Jaehyuk couldn't believe it but all the evidence support their claim.

Jaehyuk felt a deep scorching pain in his chest. "This can't be true" he whispered to himself. "Daehyun would never do this not to her wife and himself."

Suddenly Y/N started hyperventilating.
She tightly clutched her chest gasping for air. "I c..can't breat..h..he" "DAD. MOM!" she whispered with panic in her eyes.

"Y/N! child stay with me. Breathe! Breathe! sweetheart" Jaehyuk said rushing to her side kneeling down. He wrapped his arms around her trying to calm her down. "It's going to be okay. Your Uncle Jae is here. Just breathe child."

But Y/N's panic only grew more worse.
"I can't... I can't...! da...d plea..se wa-ke up Mo..m" she gasped, her vision started blurring.

Hr quickly lifted her into his arms and rushed to his car. "Hang on Y/N. We're going to the hospital" he said his voice filled with worry for the little kid who's world turned upside down in a blink of an eye..! He drove as fast as he could his heart aching for the young girl who had just lost everything.

At the hospital, doctors and nurses took over checked Y/N calming her and treating her for a panic attack she got. Mr Jeon paced in the waiting room his mind racing.
He couldn't believe this was happening.
He felt like he had lost his best friend and gained a daughter who was now in so much pain and he can't do anything for her.

When she finally calmed down, Jaehyuk went inside the hospital room to see her. She looked so small and fragile in that hospital's dress lying helplessly in the hospital bed gazing at the ceiling blankly. He sat beside her, patting her head gently.

"I'm here Child. You're not alone" he said softly trying to control his own tears his voice trembling with emotion.

"Uncle Jae what happened? Why were dad mom are at the farmhouse? Why did this happen?" she asked without diverting her gaze her voice small and scared. He took a deep breath, trying to keep his composure. "There was a car accident Y/N. Your parents... they didn't make it" he said gently.Her eyes widened with horror and disbelief.

"But..." she began, only to be cut off by Jaehyuk. "I know what you're thinking child. But I think it's the best solution. We can't destroy your father and my best friend's reputation like this. You've already seen how all the evidence supports Daehyun's claim."

"No that can't be true! Dad can't do this.
They were just here! How could this happen?" she cried again fresh tears streaming down her face.

Jaehyuk held her tightly, trying to offer some comfort. "I know child but I'm so sorry Y/N. we'll get through this. Your Uncle, everyone is here for you child."

"Uncle they can't be gone. They just can't. You know uncle Mom was just telling me about a new recipe she wanted to try for me and dad and Dad even promised me to help me with my school projects" she sobbed her voice cracking with sorrow.

Jaehyuk's heart broke even more looking at her. "I know sweetheart. I know. They loved you so much he said, his own tears flowing freely. As they sat there.her world felt like it had shattered into a million pieces. She left alone in this world. She couldn't understand why this had happened and the pain was unbearable for her. But in that moment with her Uncle Jaehyuk by her side, she knew she wasn't completely alone.
